The palm oil and plastic industries are industries with high production values. This is comparable to the waste products produced by both industries. The utilization of waste oil palm shells and low-density polyethylene plastic using microwave pyrolysis technology. In this research studied the effect of pyrolysis temperature on the characteristics and properties of pyrolytic-oil palm shell kernel and low-density polyethylene with zeolite and calcium oxide catalysts. The pyrolytic-oil analysis is divided into two, namely physical and chemical properties. The pyrolysis process is carried out using a microwave as the main material heating reactor and a second reactor for catalyst heating. The pyrolysis temperature was carried out at 400°C, 450°C, 500°C, 550°C, and 600°C. The main ingredients used are 150 grams of waste palm shells kernel, 150 grams of low-density polyethylene plastic, 56.25 grams of zeolite catalyst and 56.25 calcium oxide, with a charcoal absorber of 50% of the total main ingredients. The physical properties test of pyrolytic oil includes density measurement, acidity, and viscosity test, while chemical properties test includes compound structure test (GC-MS) and calorific value estimation. It has been observed with increasing the pyrolysis heating temperature causes a decrease in the pyrolytic oil production, and an increase in the gas production. The highest pyrolytic oil productivity occurred at 450°C. The lowest density value is found at 400°C variation, which is 966, kg/m3, the lowest viscosity value at 500°C temperature is 2.1 Mpa.s and the highest value at 550°C temperature variation is 5 pH. In testing the chemical properties of the constituent structures, the hazard of the compound at a temperature of 450°C is hydrogen 71.88% and the highest estimated heating value is found at 450°C variation, which is 33.92 MJ/kg.
