PT Dua Kelinci is one of the labor-intensive companies where most of the labor is allocated to the packaging process. The packing of "Krip-Krip Tortilla" product is done manually and requires a lot of human labor. Labor optimization is one of the factors that affect productivity improvement. This is because good labor management will create effectiveness and efficiency in the company so that high productivity can be achieved. Therefore, it is necessary to determination the amount of theoretical labor so that it can be know the amount of optimal labor. This study aims to determine the standard time and the amount of theoretical labor in each work element of the "Krip-Krip Tortilla" product packaging process in each shift. The study used time study data which was measured directly using the stopwatch time study method with 30 repetitions of observations. This study uses the Westinghouse method in determining the allowance factor to calculate the standard time. The results of this study indicate that the theoretical labor requirements for the packing process of shift A are 11 full-time workers, then shift B are 10 workers consisting of 9 full-time workers and 1 part-time worker, and shift C are 10 workers consisting of 9 full-time workers and 1 part-time worker. The amount of actual labor for shift A are 11 workers, shift B are 10 workers, and shift C are 11 workers. Therefore, further review and management are needed regarding about labor distribution.
