Perbaikan Postur Kerja di Stasiun Kerja Sortasi Kering PPTK Gambung

Proses Produksi teh kering di PPTK Gambung masih sangat mengandalkan tenaga manusia. Pada kegiatan manual material handling, ketidakhadiran pekerja karena sakit atau kecelakaan kerja dapat menurunkan produktivitas yang berdampak pada menurunnya keuntungan perusahaan. Berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan pada Bulan Januari 2020, diketahui bahwa terdapat beberapa elemen kerja yang berisiko tinggi menimbulkan MSDs (Musculoskeletal Disorders) dan kecelakaan kerja. Untuk itu, disusun suatu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi risiko MSDs dan memperbaiki postur kerja di stasiun kerja sortasi kering PPTK Gambung. Hasil studi pendahuluan menunjukkan bahwa pekerja membutuhkan alat bantu berupa trolley untuk memudahkan memindahkan karung yang berat dan pijakan kaki untuk memudahkan menjangkau tempat yang lebih tinggi. Untuk mengevaluasi penggunaan alat kerja bantu tersebut, dilakukan pembandingan tingkat kesakitan kerja dan postur kerja sebelum dengan sesudah penggunaan alat kerja bantu. Analisis tingkat kesakitan pekerja dilakukan dengan keusioner NBM dan analisis postur kerja dilakukan dengan metode OWAS. Setelah menggunakan alat kerja bantu, diketahui bahwa jumlah bagian tubuh yang dirasa sangat sakit dan sakit oleh para pekerja menurun. Selain itu, postur kerja yang sebelumnya berisiko tinggi menjadi aman setelah pekerja menggunkan alat kerja bantu.

The dry tea production process at PPTK Gambung still relies heavily on human labor. In manual material handling activities, the absence of workers due to illness or work accidents can reduce productivity which has an impact on decreasing company profits. Based on the results of a preliminary study conducted in January 2020, it is known that there are several elements of work that are at high risk of causing MSDs (Musculoskeletal Disorders) and work accidents. For this reason, a study was prepared that aims to reduce the risk of MSDs and improve work posture at the PPTK Gambung dry sorting work station. The results of the preliminary study show that workers need a trolley to make it easier to move heavy sacks and footrests to make it easier to reach higher places. To evaluate the use of these auxiliary work tools, a comparison of the level of work pain and work posture was carried out before and after the use of auxiliary work tools. The workers' pain level was analyzed using the NBM questionnaire and the work posture analysis was carried out using the OWAS method. After using the auxiliary tool, it was found that the number of body parts that were felt very sick and sore by the workers decreased. In addition, previously high-risk work postures become safe after workers use auxiliary work tools.
