PEMBERITAAN DEMONSTRASI GERAKAN ROMPI KUNING PADA LE MONDE DAN LE FIGARO : ANALISIS PEMBINGKAIAN

Setiap media daring memiliki kaidah yang berbeda dalam memberitakan suatu peristiwa. Topik yang serupa belum tentu ditulis dengan cara yang sama. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi media daring, baik itu dari segi penulisan, editorial, produksi, kultural, ideologi, atau lainnya. Penelitian ini menjelaskan bagaimana Le Monde dan Le Figaro membingkai pemberitaan demonstrasi gerakan Gilets Jaunes. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah perangkat pembingkaian Wiliam Gamson dan Andre Modigliani. Perangkat pembingkaian tersebut meliputi framing device yang berisi metaphor, catchphrases, exemplaar, depiction dan visual image. Kemudian, reasoning device yang mencakup roots, appeals to principe, dan consequences. Pada hasil akhir akan diketahui perbedaan penulisan Le Monde dan Le Figaro. Kesimpulan analisis menunjukkan bahwa kedua media memiliki atensi dalam memperhatikan demonstrasi. Namun, Le Figaro memberikan perhatian yang lebih besar dari pada Le Monde terhadap peristiwa tersebut. Selain itu, Le Figaro dan Le Monde menggambarkan Gilets Jaunes dan les automobilistes lebih negatif daripada Pemerintah dan pihak berwajib.

Every online media has different rules for reporting an event. Similar topics are not necessarily written the same way. Many factors influence online media, be it in terms of writing, editorial, production, culture, ideology, or others. This study explains how Le Monde and Le Figaro frame the reporting of the movement demonstration Gilets Jaunes. The analytical theory used is William Gamson and Andre Modigliani. The device includes a framing device containing metaphors, catchphrases, exemplars, depiction, and visual images. Then, the reasoning device explains the element of roots, appeals to principe, and consequences. In the final result, it will be known the differences between Le Monde and Le Figaro. The conclusion of the analysis shows that both media have an interest in paying attention to the demonstration. However, Le Figaro paid more attention than Le Monde to these events. In addition, Le Figaro and Le Monde described Gilets Jaunes and the automobiles as more negatively than the Government and the police.
