Budaya Nusantara merupakan pemersatu negara Indonesia yang perlu dipertahankan. Partisipasi masyarakat dan komunitas sangat penting dalam proses pelestarian dan keberlanjutan sebuah budaya. Musik Bambu sebagai salah satu musik kontemporer yang baru lahir dan berkembang di Indonesia terutama pada kota Yogyakarta memiliki potensi yang cukup kuat untuk membawa nilai penting dari budaya nusantara. Partisipasi masyarakat dan komunitas diwadahi dalam aktivitas-aktivitas utama dalam budaya musik bambu. Kebutuhan aktivitas tidak terlepas dari fasilitas yang memadahi untuk keberlanjutan budaya musik bambu. Fasilitas yang mewadahi dapat berwujud secara konkrit dalam bentuk konsep arsitektural dan ruang lingkup. Fasilitas pendukung dalam proses pelestarian budaya nusantara masih kurang memadahi baik dari sisi masyarakat dan dari sisi komunitas budaya. Kebutuhan ruang pelingkup kegiatan berwujud arsitektur perlu diperhatikan hingga spesifikasi kebutuhan ruang dapat dipaparkan dengan baik. Dengan pendekatan berbasis komunitas, kebutuhan fasilitas dalam proses pelestarian budaya dapat dirancang dengan tepat, sehingga ruang pelingkup kegiatan dapat menjadi sebuah destinasi edukasi wisata budaya berbasis komunitas yang rekreatif. Konsep tersebut akan menghasilkan sebuah kebudayaan yang dapat ditanamkan ke kehidupan masyarakat dan memiliki nilai keberlanjutan.

Archipelago Culture is Indonesia�s unifying factor that needs to be maintained. Society and community participation is very important in the process of preservation and sustainability of a culture. Bamboo music as one of the contemporary music that was born and developed in Indonesia, especially in the city of Yogyakarta that has a strong enough potential to carry important values of the archipelago culture. Society and community participation is fostered in major activities in bamboo music culture. The activity needs are inseparable from the adequate facilities for the sustainability of bamboo music culture. The accommodating facilities can be tangible in the form of architectural concepts and scope. Supporting facilities in the process of preserving the culture of the archipelago are still lacking in terms of both the society side and the cultural community side. The need for scope of architectural tangible activities needs to be considered until the specification of spatial requirements can be well presented. With a community-based approach, the need for facilities in the process of cultural preservation can be designed appropriately, so that the scope of activities can become a recreational destination for community-based cultural tourism education. The concept will produce a culture that can be embedded into people's lives and has a value of sustainability.
