The Influence of Corporate Social Responsibility Perception Towards Generation Z University Students' Job Pursuit Intentions

Merekrut dan mempertahankan pegawai yang memiliki kemampuan untuk mengambil posisi strategis tetap menjadi salah satu tantangan terbesar yang harus dihadapi perusahaan di masa sekarang. Adalah kepentingan terbaik perusahaan untuk menarik karyawan yang hebat, terampil, dan berpengetahuan. Oleh karena itu, semakin penting bagi perusahaan untuk menerapkan praktik dan program yang akan menarik mereka yang akan berkontribusi terhadap produktivitas dan pertumbuhan perusahaan. Di masa lampau, para pemimpin organisasi milik generasi Baby Boomers telah berusaha untuk mengatasi berbagai kebutuhan Generasi X dan Generasi Y. Namun, di masa sekarang, tugas-tugas organisasi tidak hanya untuk membantu Gen X dan Gen Y, tetapi juga untuk memenuhi kebutuhan Gen Z yang meningkat supaya kelompok-kelompok yang terdiri dari generasi yang berbeda dapat bekerja dengan sukses dan efektif agar setiap kebutuhan mereka dapat ditangani dan diurus dengan baik. Penelitian ini mencoba menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan tentang bagaimana perbedaan persepsi tentang Tanggung Jawab Sosial Perusahaan di antara siswa yang berasal dari kelompok usia yang sama dapat memengaruhi atau mengubah preferensi mereka dalam mencari pekerjaan. Dalam penelitian ini, baik pengaruh individu dan kolektif diperhitungkan untuk mengukur persepsi dan evaluasi yang mungkin berbeda terhadap Tanggung Jawab Sosial Perusahaan.

The recruitment and retention of top talents who possess the capability of taking strategic positions remain one of the biggest challenges companies have to face in the present days. It is within the company�s best interest to attract great, highly skilled, and knowledgeable employees, hence it has become increasingly important for companies to implement practices and programs that will attract those who will contribute towards the company�s productivity and growth. In the past, organization leaders belonging to the Baby Boomers age were struggling to address the different needs of Generation X and Generation Y. However, these days, the tasks of the organizations are not only to aid the Gen X and Gen Y, but also to foretell the workplace needs of the rising Gen Z so that groups comprising of different generations can work successfully and effectively with each of their needs addressed and taken care of. This research attempts to answer the questions in how different perceptions of Corporate Social Responsibility amongst students coming from the same age groups may influence or alter their preferences in finding jobs. In this paper, both individual and collective influences are being put into account to measure the perceptions that different respondents may have towards Corporate Social Responsibility.
