Legenda Putri Solo di Kabupaten Cilacap: Analisis Struktur Naratif

INTISARI Legenda Putri Solo adalah cerita tentang perjalanan seorang putri keturunan dari Raja Kasunanan Surakarta yang meninggalkan kerajaan untuk mencari pujaan hatinya, yang bernama Bekel Alas Tua. Legenda Putri Solo merupakan cerita lisan yang berkembang di Kabupaten Cilacap. Keberadaan cerita tersebut didukung dengan adanya petilasan maupun tradisi masyarakat yang mempunyai keterkaitan dengan legenda tersebut. Petilasan tersebut meliputi nama-nama daerah yang muncul akibat sebuah peristiwa yang digambarkan di dalam cerita. Selain itu, juga terdapat sebuah makam yang dianggap sebagai makam Putri Solo. Adapun tradisi masyarakat yang berkaitan dengan Legenda Putri Solo yaitu slametan rajaban Paněmbahan Mbah Putri. Dari hasil pengamatan beberapa versi cerita, ditemukan tiga versi cerita lisan yang berkembang mengenai Legenda Putri Solo di Kabupaten Cilacap. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui cerita Legenda Putri Solo dengan cara menganalisis cerita menggunakan teori struktur naratif. Bagian yang diutamakan dalam analisis struktur naratif pada penelitian ini adalah unsur-unsur cerita yang meliputi tokoh, latar/setting dan peristiwa. Dari hasil analisis cerita, maka diketahui persamaan dan perbedaan pada ketiga versi cerita tersebut. Kemudian dilakukan sebuah rekonstruksi sehingga menghasilkan satu cerita yang utuh serta tema dari Legenda Putri Solo. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, ketiga versi cerita lisan Legenda Putri Solo memiliki unsur cerita yang tidak jauh berbeda, baik dari segi tokoh maupun unsur struktur yang lain. Melalui rekonstruksi, ditemukan sejumlah tujuh tokoh, dan 18 latar tempat yang terdapat dalam cerita. Sedangkan latar waktu terjadinya legenda tersebut sekitar abad ke-18. Ditemukan pula 20 peristiwa yang terdapat di dalam cerita, yang terdiri dari 7 kernel dan 13 satelite. Tema yang diambil dalam Legenda Putri Solo di Kabupaten Cilacap adalah “Pengorbanan dan keputusasaan.”

ABSTRACT Legend of Putri Solo is the story of a daughter of descendants of Raja Kasunanan Surakarta who left the kingdom to look for her admire, named Bekel Alas Tua. Legend of Putri Solo is an oral story that growth in Cilacap regency. The story's existence is supported by the sites and traditions of people who have relevance with the legend. The sites includes the names of the regions that appear from an event described in the story. On the other hand, there is a grave that is considered as the grave of Putri Solo. The tradition that growth in the people which is corellated with Legend of Putri Solo is slametan rajaban Paněmbahan Mbah Putri. From the observation of several versions in the story, there are three versions of oral stories that developed about the Legend of Putri Solo in Cilacap Regency. The aim of this research is to study the Legend of Putri Solo by analyze the structure of the story by narrative structure theory. The preferred sections in the narrative structure analysis of this research are the story that include characters, settings and events. From the results analysis of the story, it can be know the similarities and differences in the three versions of the story. Then, a after reconstruction done, the whole story can be produce and theme from the Legend of Putri Solo. Based on this research, there are three oral story versions of Legend of Putri Solo that is not much different, both in terms of characterization or other structural elements. After reconstructed, there are seven characters and 18 places in the story. The time of the event is around the 18th century. There are 20 events in the story, that include 7 kernel and 13 satelite. Theme of Legend of Putri Solo in Cilacap Regency is "Sacrifice and Despair."
