Implementasi Smart City di Kota Bekasi

Smart city dikenal sebagai konsep pembangunan kota yang berbasis pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK). Kota Bekasi sebagai salah satu kota penyangga DKI Jakarta telah menerapkan smart city untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat, tata kelola pemerintahan, dan menangani permasalahan kota. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengkaji permasalahan kota di Kota Bekasi untuk penerapan Smart City, 2) mengidentifikasi cakupan komponen smart city yang telah diimplementasikan di Kota Bekasi, dan 3) rekomendasi terhadap pengembangan implementasi smart city di Kota Bekasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang dihimpun berupa data primer yang diperoleh dari hasil indepth interview dengan pihak pemerintah dan pengguna aplikasi, serta data sekunder berupa dokumen resmi dari pihak pemerintah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat proses kajian permasalahan kota dalam menerapkan smart city. Terdapat 10 dari 12 aspek permasalahan kota yang sudah ditangani melalui komponen smart city. Komponen yang diterapkan dengan berbasis pemanfaatan TIK ada tiga, yaitu smart governance, smart environment, dan smart living. Berdasarkan aplikasi yang telah diimplementasikan dapat menghasilkan rekomendasi untuk pengembangan implementasi smart city di Kota Bekasi.

Smart city is known as the concept of urban development based on the utilization of information and communication technology (ICT). Bekasi city is one of the buffer city of DKI Jakarta which has implemented smart city to meet the needs of citizen, government, and handling urban problems. The aims of this research are: 1) to review urban issues in Bekasi City for Smart City implementation, 2) to identify the coverage of smart city components that have been implemented in Bekasi City, and 3) recommendations for the development of smart city implementation in Bekasi City. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collected in the form of primary data obtained from the results of indepth interview with the government and application users, as well as secondary data in the form of official documents from the government. The result showed that through a study of city problems, there are 10 out of 12 urban issues that have been handled with utilizing smart city components. There are three components are applied with ICT-based utilization, namely smart governance, smart environment, and smart living. Based on the applications that have been implemented can generate recommendations for the development of smart city implementation in Bekasi City.
