PENDEKATAN MODEL RASCH UNTUK ANALISIS PSIKOMETRI PADA TES GMST UGM

Gadjah Mada Scholastic Test (GMST) sebagai salah satu perangkat seleksi ujian masuk di UGM perlu ditinjau secara empiris untuk mengetahui kualitasnya secara psikometri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas Gadjah Mada Scholastic Test melalui analisis aitem menggunakan pendekatan model Rasch dengan estimasi parameter aitem antara lain tingkat kesukaran aitem, kecocokan aitem-aitem dengan model Rasch (item fit), deteksi aitem yang mengandung bias, dan kualitas fungsi informasi pengukuran tes GMST dengan menggunakan software Winsteps. Data yang digunakan adalah skor GMST dari 1562 subjek yang mengikuti seleksi ujian masuk program IUP di UGM pada tahun 2016. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah GMST memiliki tingkat kesukaran aitem yang beragam (15,83 % sangat mudah; 38,33 % mudah; 30,83 % sulit; 15 % sangat sulit) dan item-person map pada keseluruhan subtes telah memenuhi kondisi ideal untuk tipe tes seleksi. Sebagian besar aitem pada GMST (75%) telah cocok (fit) dengan model. Sebanyak 33 aitem terdeteksi mengandung bias pengukuran. Grafik fungsi informasi menunjukkan fokus pengukuran pada subjek dengan kemampuan moderat atau menengah dan belum menunjukkan kondisi yang ideal sebagai tes seleksi. Secara keseluruhan, sebanyak 53 aitem disarankan untuk ditinjau ulang.

Item analysis of Gadjah Mada Scholastic Test (GMST) as an admission test used in UGM should be carried on in order to assess the quality of those items and of the test as a whole. The aims of this study is to justify the quality of Gadjah Mada Scholastic Test through an analysis item using a Rasch modeling approach using software Winsteps. The parameter estimates include item difficulty, item fit, detection item that contains bias, and the quality of information functions GMST test measurements. A total of 1562 subjects who participated in the selection at IUP program in 2016 were used in this study. The results showed that GMST have varying item difficulty level (15.83% very easy; 38.33% easy; 30,83% difficult ; 15% very difficult) and item-person map on the overall subtests meet the ideal conditions. Most item on GMST (75 %) were fit with the model. Thirty three items were detected as bias in measurement. The graph showed a focus of measurement information function in subjects with moderate ability and it has also showed that the conditions are not ideal as a selection test. Overall, 53 items are suggested for more review.
