PERSEPSI TENAGA KEPENDIDIKAN FK-KMK UGM TENTANG PENGEMBANGAN HEALTH PROMOTING UNIVERSITY

Latar belakang: Health promoting university (HPU) adalah tempat yang istimewa untuk menciptakan konteks mempromosikan kesehatan yang bersifat umum di universitas, dengan tujuan meningkatkan profil kesehatan di universitas melalui pengembangan pendidikan, penelitian dan berbagai disiplin ilmu pengetahuan yang berkontribusi terhadap kesejahteraan dan keberlanjutan komunitas secara komprehensif dan juga dapat mengevaluasi efektivitas program intervensi. Tujuan: Mengetahui gambaran umum tentang persepsi tenaga kependidikan FK- KMK UGM tentang pengembangan health promoting university. Metode: Jenis penelitian adalah mixed method dengan desain explanatory sequential. Hasil: Manfaat HPU menurut tendik adalah memiliki kebijakan yang relevan dengan pengembangan HPU, yaitu tanda larangan merokok di tempat strategis di kampus, tersedianya akses air minum bersih dan segar di kampus, tersedianya rute sepeda, peta dan transportasi umum untuk penunjang aktivitas fisik, lingkungan mendukung aktivitas fisik, tersedianya kantin sehat yang menyediakan makanan sehat lokal, snack sehat dan murah. Hambatan HPU menurut tendik, yaitu masih banyaknya makanan tidak sehat seperti gorengan dan kebijakan KTR belum efektif. Tendik FK-KMK UGM memiliki intensi yang tinggi mendukung pengembangan HPU dengan membuang sampah pada tempatnya, tidak merokok di kampus dan akan menegur jika melihat seseorang merokok di kampus, memilih makanan bersih dan sehat yang dijual di kampus, memanfaatkan fasilitas yang disediakan kampus seperti tempat parkir dan stasiun sepeda untuk dapat melakukan aktivitas fisik. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara manfaat, dengan intensi mendukung pengembangan HPU dengan nilai p = 0.00. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara hambatan dengan intensi mendukung pengembangan HPU dengan nilai p = 0.005. Kesimpulan: Persepsi tenaga kependidikan FK-KMK UGM tentang pengembangan HPU membutuhkan domain perbaikan pada hambatan kebijakan yang kurang efektif dan fasilitas yang ada di kampus kurang dimanfaatkan.

Background: Health-Promoting University (HPU) is a special program to promote health in general to the universities. This aims to increase the profile of health in the university through the development of education, research and other scientific disciplines that contribute to the communitys welfare comprehensively and to evaluate the effectiveness of universitys health-relating program. Objective: To find out a general description of the perceptions of the FK-KMK UGM education staff about health-promoting university development. Method: This type of research was a mixed-method with sequential explanatory design. The research subject was the UGM FK-KMK education staff with the number of quantitative respondents (n) was 84. The participants were taken based on purposive sampling (n = 13). Data was conducted through survey methods then followed up with in-depth interviews with qualitative methods. Result: The benefits of HPU according to education staff of HPU, namely the prohibition of smoking in some certain places on campus, the easily accessible, clean, and fresh drinking water, the availability of bicycle routes, maps, and public transportation to support physical activity, the canteens that provide healthy and affordable food. HPUs obstacles according to education staff are unhealthy foods such as fried foods and the ineffectiveness of KTR policies. The education staff FK-KMK UGM has a high intention to support the development of HPU by removing garbage to its place, not smoking on campus and will prohibit smoking activity, choosing clean and healthy food sold on campus, utilizing facilities provided by the campus such as parking lots and bicycle stations to be able to do physical activity. There was a relationship between benefits and the intention of HPU support which the value of p = 0.00. Moreover, p-value to the relationship between obstacles and the intention to support the development of HPU was 0.005. Conclusion: The perception of the FK-KMK UGM education staff on the development of HPU requires a domain of improvement on less effective policy and underutilized facilities on campus.
