Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang satu dekade terakhir ini meningkatkan pemanfaatan Gas LPG dan CNG sebagai bahan bakar alternatif. Peningkatan ini ditandai dengan pengembangan kapasitas produksi oleh beberapa Perusahaan Gas di Indonesia. Tentunya, berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, diperlukan tingkat pengamanan yang lebih pada komponen penting infrastruktur pengembang gas, yaitu pipa. Pipa memegang peranan penting karena digunakan untuk proses pendistribusian gas, baik dalam mendistribusikan bahan yang akan diolah ataupun mendistribusikan produk yang telah jadi. Salah satu kerusakan pipa yang mengakibatkan terjadinya kebocoran, dapat memicu ledakan dahsyat, karena Gas LPG dan CNG ini merupakan gas mudah terbakar dalam kadar konsentrasi gas diatas ambang bawah ledakan (Lower Explosive Limit). RC GUARD P1-X merupakan teknologi yang mampu memberi solusi dari permasalahan kebocoran pipa gas LPG dan CNG. Pendeteksian Gas LPG dilakukan sensor dengan pembacaan kadar konsentrasi senyawa utamanya, yaitu Gas Propana dan Butana, sedangkan pendeteksian Gas CNG dengan pembacaan kadar konsentrasi senyawa utamanya, yaitu Gas Methana. Penggunaan nRF24l01+PA+LNA sebagai komunikasi monitoring dan dukungan kamera aksi, menyatakan bahwa teknologi ini dapat melakukan pengawasan jarak jauh. Instalasi LCD dan Alarm memberikan kemudahan kepada pengguna untuk melakukan pengamatan kadar konsentrasi gas dan pendeteksian terjadinya kebocoran pipa.

Indonesia is one of another country that the last decade improving the utilization of LPG and CNG gas as an alternative fuel. This increase is characterized from the development of production capacity by some Gas Company in Indonesia. Of course, in this regard, the required level of security is more critical components for gas infrastructure developer, namely pipe. Pipe is an important role because it�s used for gas distribution process, both in distributing the material or distribute products. Pipe damage which resulted is leakage, can trigger a powerful explosion, because the LPG and CNG is a combustible gas in the concentration above the threshold concentration below the explosion (Lower Explosive Limit). RC GUARD P1-X is a technology to give solutions of gas LPG and CNG pipeline leakage. Sensor detection LPG Gas by reading the concentration levels of primary compounds, namely Gas Propane and Butane Gas, while the CNG with the reading concentration levels of main compounds, namely Methane Gas. nRF24l01+PA+LNA as communication for monitoring and support action camera, is declare that this technology can provide oversight by a considerable distance. LCD and Alarms provide convenience the user to make observations gas concentration levels and detection of pipeline leaks.
