AJARAN ETIKA SOSROKARTONO DAN RELEVANSINYA BAGI PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER BANGSA INDONESIA

2016 | Disertasi | S3 Ilmu FilsafatPenelitian yang berjudul: AJARAN ETIKA SOSROKARTONO DAN RELEVANSINYA BAGI PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER BANGSA INDONESIA ini merupakan studi filosofis dengan objek material ajaran moral Sosrokartono. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah keprihatinan atas terjadinya demoralisasi dan kritis jati diri dalam kehidupan masyarakat sebagai ekses proses modernisasi dan globalisasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) mengidentifikasi dan memberikan analisis kritis atas ajaran moral Sosrokartono, (2) memberikan analisis kritis tentang jenis-jenis teori etika normatif dari ajaran moral Sosrokartono, dan (3) menemukan relevansi dan sumbangan ajaran moral Sosrokartono bagi pembentukan karakter bangsa Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pustaka. Jalan penelitian mengikuti langkah-langkah: pengumpulan data, analisis historis dokumen dan interpretasi, reduksi data, klasifikasi data, menyusun rancangan hasil penelitian, review, dan revisi perbaikan. Analisis data pada prinsipnya mengunakan dua metode pokok, yaitu hermeneutika dan heuristika. Hasil penelitian adalah pertama, inti ajaran moral Sosrokartono adalah kewajiban manusia adalah mencintai dan mengabdi kepada Tuhan. Bentuk cinta dan pengabdian kepada Tuhan adalah perilaku leladi mring sesami dengan ikhlas. Kedua, Ajaran-ajaran moral Sosrokartono mengandung berbagai teori etika normatif, yaitu etika deontologi, etika keutamaan, dan etika teleologi. Ketiga, relevansi dan sumbangan ajaran moral Sosrokartono bagi pembentukan karakter bangsa Indonesia terletak pada kesesuaiannya dengan Pancasila sebagai identitas dan karakter nasional, serta kesesuaian isi kandungan nilai-nilai pembentuk karakter individual yang sekarang sedang dinternalisasikan dan disosialisasikan oleh pemerintah lewat program pendidikan karakter.
The study entitled: "The Ethics Teaching of Sosrokartono and Its Relevance to the Formation of the Indonesian Nation character" is a philosophical study of the material object of Sosrokartonos moral teachings. The background of this study is concern over the occurrence of demoralization and crisis of identity in public life as the excesses of the process of modernization and globalization. The purpose of this study are: (1) identify and provide a critical analysis of the moral teachings Sosrokartono, (2) provide a critical analysis of the types of ethical theory normative of moral teachings Sosrokartono, and (3) finding the relevance and contribution of moral teachings Sosrokartono for the formation of national character Indonesia. This research is a library research. The procedure of research to follow these steps: data collection, analysis and interpretation of historical documents, data reduction, data classification, draft the results of research, review, and revision of repair. Analysis of the data in principle use two basic methods, namely hermeneutics and heuristics. Results of the study is the first, the core of moral teachings Sosrokartono is the human obligation is to love and serve the Lord. Forms of love and devotion to God is to help and to assist others with sincerity. Second, the moral teachings Sosrokartono contains various normative ethical theory, namely deontology ethics, virtue ethics, and teleology ethics. Third, the relevance and contribution of moral teachings Sosrokartono to formation of Indonesian nation character lies in conformance with Pancasila as the national identity and character, as well as the suitability of the contents of character-forming values are now being internalized and disseminated by the government through the character education program.
