ANALISIS GANGGUAN RELE BUCHHOLZ (96-2) PADA MAIN TRANSFORMER 11/150 KV 39 MVA UNIT 3 DI PLTA SUTAMI

Transformator daya memerlukan sistem proteksi berupa rele, salah satu rele proteksi pada transformator daya ialah rele Buchholz. Rele Buchholz merupakan proteksi terhadap gelembung gas akibat loncatan elektron didalam belitan trafo atau akibat pemanasan minyak lainnya. Salah satu gangguan pada rele Buchholz adalah kebocoran pada komponen rele buchholz yaitu pelampung bawah, sehingga rele Buchholz bekerja pada saat keadaan normal. Akibat gangguan rele Buchholz yang bekerja pada saat tidak ada gangguan/ bekerja dalam keadaan normal selain mentripkan unit, juga dapat menghilangkan energi yang disediakan, energi yang hilang dapat dihitung berdasarkan lamanya unit pembangkit keluar dari jaringan sampai unit pembangkit siap operasi atau masuk jaringan kembali, lamanya waktu tersebut dapat disebut FOH (Force Outage Hours). Penanganan yang dilakukan berupa pemeriksaan visual, electric, dan kontrol.

Power transformer require protection system in the form of relays, one of relay protection in power transformer was Buchholz relay. Buchholz relay is a protection against gas bubbles as a result of stepping electrons within the transformer windings due to heating or other oils. One of disruption in Buchholz relay is Buchholz relay leak component that float down, so that the Buchholz relay worked during normal circumtances. Due to interference Buchholz relay who work at the moment there is no interruption / work under normal circumtances other then tripping unit, also can eliminate the energy provided, the energy loss can be calculated besed on the length og the generating unit out of the network to the generating unit is ready for operation or network log back in, the length the time can be called FOH (Force Outage Hours). Handling was done by visual inspection, electric and control.
