MOSALAPARWA JAWA KUNA (Suntingan Teks, Terjemahan, dan Catatan Mengenai Konsep Pralaya)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah edisi teks MpJK dari naskah Jawa Kuna beraksara Bali koleksi Pusat Dokumentasi Dinas Kebudayaan Provinsi Bali dengan kode XXXP, dan nomor koleksi P/III/3/DOKBUD (MpJKXP). Setelah dilakukan suntingan teks dengan metode perbaikan bacaan, dapat diketahui bahwa teks ini berbeda dengan teks-teks MpJK yang edisinya pernah diterbitkan terdahulu. Perbedaannya terletak pada banyaknya variasi bacaan yang dapat ditemukan di dalamnya. Kendatipun demikian, variasi bacaan di sini dipandang sebagai bentuk kreasi dari penyalin. Teks yang merupakan bagian dari epos besar MBh ini menceritakan musnahnya bangsa Yadawa dan kematian tokoh sentral dari Dwarawati seperti Kresna, Baladewa, dan Maharaja Basudewa. Penginterpretasian terhadap teks MpJKXP diawali dengan penerjemahan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. Selanjutnya, pengungkapkan makna dari aspek budaya dilakukan dengan pendekatan mimesis dalam teori kritik sastra. Dari sudut pandang mimesis, teks MpJKXP merupakan sebuah epos mitologis yang merepresentasikan konsep mite pralaya dalam kosmogoni Hindu dalam karya sastra. Mitologi pralaya ini dalam tataran epos pada teks MpJKXP digambarkan dengan kemusnahan bangsa Yadawa, kematian tokoh sentral epos di dalamnya, serta tenggelamnya Dwarawati.

This study aims to deliver a text edition of Old Javanese Mośalaparwa in one of manuscripts written in Balinese scripts, collection of Documentation Center in the Department of Culture, Bali, with the code XXXP, and the collection number P/III/3/DOKBUD (MpJKXP). Having been conducted a critical edition of MpJKXP with an improved method of reading, it can be recognized that the text is different from those whose edition have been published previously. The difference lies in the number of variant readings that can be found in it. Nevertheless, this variation of a manuscript here is reputed as a form of creation of a copyist. The text, which is a small part of the great epic MBh, contains the narrative of the obliteration of the Yadawas and the death of several prominent epic heroes of Dwarawati like Krishna, Balarama and Maharaja Vasudeva. Commencing with a translation into Indonesian, the interpretation of the text MpJKXP to reveal its significance in terms of the culture is then continued with an analysis through the mimetic approach in literary criticism. From the standpoint of mimesis, the text MpJKXP is a mythological epic that represents the concept of pralaya in Hindu cosmogony in the literary level. The mythology of pralaya in the epic text MpJKXP is described through some delineations with regard to the obliteration of the Yadawas, the deaths of the central figures of the epic in Dwarawati, and the annihilation of Dwarawati itself.
