Pentingnya usaha dalam meningkatkan kualitas akademik di sekolah menjadi dasar utama pemanfaatan teknologi informasi untuk ikut serta sebagai sarana penunjang keberhasilan proses belajar mengajar di sekolah. Tidak terlepas dari itu, proses penilaian terhadap hasil belajar siswa merupakan aktifitas rutin yang dilakukan di sekolah. Pada SMP N 1 Grabag, proses penilaian tersebut belum memiliki kontrol, manajemen dan dokumentasi yang baik sehingga dibutuhkan adanya sistem pembantu yang dapat mengelola hasil belajar siswa sekaligus dapat membantu dokumentasi laporan nilai siswa. Sistem Informasi Pengelolaan Hasil Belajar SMP N 1 Grabag berbasis web ini berguna untuk membantu dalam melakukan pencatatan hasil belajar siswa oleh guru, pengelolaan nilai siswa dan perhitungan penilaian berdasarkan prosedur sekolah. Sistem ini juga sekaligus sebagai sarana informasi laporan nilai siswa yang dapat diakses dengan mudah oleh pihak guru yang berkepentingan dengan data nilai siswa. Melalui sistem, setiap guru dapat memasukan data hasil belajar siswa berdasarkan tipe penilaian pada kurikulum pembelajaran yang berlaku. Nilai tersebut dihitung dengan menggunakan standar rumus sekolah. Hasil pengolahan dari sistem ini yakni berupa laporan nilai siswa tiap semester, rekapitulasi kelas, dan juga rekapitulasi tahunan untuk mengetahui perkembangan hasil belajar siswa dalam setiap tahun. Hasil pengolahan berupa laporan ini dapat diekspor menjadi dokumen dalam bentuk .pdf dan .csv.

Information technology is necessary to improve the academic quality of the school. Its means that information system is used to support and participate the process of managing student valuation process and give a good effort for it. One of the main activity at the school is how to give valuation for the students, but SMP N 1 Grabag doesn't have a control and management of student's grade yet. So, SMP N 1 Grabag needs a system to help the valuation process, calculate the value, and manage the valuation report. Web based Management of Student Grade Information System for Junior High School 1 Grabag is useful to assist the process of valuation assessment in the schools as well as information on results of a student's academic value that can be accessed by teachers who manage the valuation process. Its means to help the management of valuation ordered by school procedure of valuation system. Teachers be able to input the student valuation and that value will be calculated by the standart formula provided by school curriculum. Beside that, teachers can access the valuation report, class report, and annually report easily which can be exported into .pdf and .csv.
