TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN DAN HARAPAN GURU TENTANG PELAKSANAAN USAHA KESEHATAN SEKOLAH (UKS) PADA TATANAN SEKOLAH DASAR DI KOTA YOGYAKARTA

Latar belakang: UKS merupakan suatu bentuk layanan kesehatan yang ada di lingkungan sekolah yang bertujuan untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan derajat kesehatan warga sekolah, khususnya peserta didik. Masalah yang dihadapi adalah masih kurangnya pemanfaatan UKS sebagai sarana untuk meningkatkan derajat kesehatan warga sekolah. Dalam hal ini, peran guru sangat diperlukan untuk mencapai tujuan yang akan dicapai. Tujuan penelitian: Untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan dan harapan guru tentang pelaksanaan UKS pada tatanan Sekolah Dasar di Kota Yogyakarta. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey cross sectional (studi potong lintang) yang dilakukan pada tujuh SD yang terpilih secara acak di Kota Yogyakarta. Kuesioner yang digunakan adalah kuesioner pengetahuan (26 item) dan harapan (21 item). Kuesioner tersebut dibuat sendiri oleh peneliti dengan mengacu pada lembar evaluasi stratifikasi UKS tingkat SD Kota Yogyakarta oleh Dinas Kesehatan Kota Yogyakarta tahun 2013. Hasil: Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 90,57 % guru memiliki pengetahuan baik dan rerata harapan guru tentang UKS yaitu 3,32. Kesimpulan: Tingkat pengetahuan guru Sekolah Dasar tentang pelaksanaan program UKS di wilayah Kota Yogyakarta dalam kategori baik dan secara umum memiliki harapan yang besar terhadap pelaksanaan program UKS (TRIAS UKS) yang terdapat di sekolah.

Background : School Based Health Center (UKS) is a form of health care that exist in the school that aims to maintain and improve the health of the school community, especially students. The problem is the lack of utilization of the UKS as a tool to improve health level of the school community. In this case, the role of the teacher is required to achieve the goals. Objectives : To determine the level of knowledge and the teacher's expectations regarding the implementation of the School Based Health Center at Elementary School in Yogyakarta City. Methods : This study uses a cross-sectional survey (cross-sectional study) conducted in seven randomly selected Elementary School in in Yogyakarta City. The questionnaires used in this research are knowledge (26 items) and expectations (21 items). The questionnaire was made by researchers with reference to the evaluation sheet stratification of School Based Health Centre at elementary school in Yogyakarta city by the education agency Yogyakarta 2013. Results : The results show that 90.57% of the teachers have a good knowledge and the teacher's average expectation about School Based Health Center is 3.32. Conclusions : The level of knowledge in Elementary School teachers about the implementation of the School Based Health Center at Elementary School in Yogyakarta City is in the good category and generally, have a great expectations towards the implementation of the School Based Health Center program existed in school.
