VARIASI TEBAL ALIRAN LANGSUNG, DEBIT PUNCAK DAN SUSPENSI PADA CATCHMENT JATI PLUS PERHUTANI DAN CATCHMENT JATI KONVENSIONAL DI BKPH PASAR SORE, KPH CEPU

Salah satu hasil dari uji keturunan materi genetik unggul adalah Jati Plus Perhutani, sedangkan yang berasal dari benih pohon induk terpilih dikenal dengan Jati Konvensional. Tanaman Jati Plus Perhutani memiliki batang yang lurus dan tumbuh lebih cepat, hal ini dikarenakan berasal dari proses seleksi yang sangat ketat sehingga membentuk kerapatan tajuk yang seragam, berbeda dengan Tanaman Jati Konvensional yang bersifat monokultur dan memiliki kerapatan tajuk yang lebih variatif. Dengan demikian perlu diketahui variasi tebal aliran langsung, debit puncak dan erosi terhadap penggunaan pola penanaman secara konvensional maupun uji keturunan yang sama-sama bersifat monokultur namun memiliki kerapatan tajuk yang berbeda. Penelitian ini dilakukan di BKPH Pasar Sore, KPH Cepu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui variasi tebal aliran langsung, debit puncak, dan erosi antara catchment Jati Plus Perhutani dan catchment Jati Konvensional. Data tebal hujan terekam otomatis dengan alat ARR. Data karakteristik hidrograf dan suspensi didapat dengan bantuan bangunan SPAS bertipe V-notch weir 90º yang dilengkapi alat AWLR dan Raising stage suspended sampler. Data tebal aliran langsung, debit puncak dan suspensi diperoleh dari analisis hidrograf aliran. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis statistik untuk mengetahui variasi tebal aliran langsung, debit puncak dan erosi pada catchment Jati Plus Perhutani dan catchment Jati Konvensional. Tebal aliran langsung pada catchment Jati Plus Perhutani sebesar 110,79 mm sedangkan catchment Jati Konvensional sebesar 79,58 mm. Hasil debit puncak menunjukan kedua jenis tanaman jati tersebut termasuk kriteria debit yang sangat baik, dengan hasil erosi pada catchment Jati Plus Perhutani sebesar 39,97 kg/hari/ha dan catchment Jati konvensional sebesar 20,10 kg/hari/ha. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut erosi yang terdapat di catchment Jati Plus Perhutani dan catchment Jati konvensional termasuk kriteria rendah yang masih dapat ditoleransi
The development of teak cultivation in Perhutani relies on generative growth techniques. One of the results of superior genetic material test is Jati Plus Perhutani, whereas the result from selected parent trees, known as Conventional Teak. Jati Plus Perhutani has straight stems and can grow faster because it is resulted from a very strict selection process and resulting similar Phenology such as diameters, canopy, cover, etc. In contradiction, Conventional Teak had monocultur characteristic and various canopy density. It is necessary to understand the variation of direct runoff, peak discharge, and erosion towards plantation types. The research was conducted in BKPH Pasar Sore, KPH Cepu. The aims of this study is to identify the variation of direct runoff, peak discharge, and erosion between Jati Plus Perhutani catchment and Conventional Teak catchment. Rainfall depth data were recorded automatically with Automatic Rainfall Recorder (ARR). Hydrograph and suspension characteristics data were obtained using V-notch weir 90º type SPAS, equipped with Automatic Water Level Recorder (AWLR) and Raising Stage Suspended Sampler. Data of direct runoff, peak discharge, and suspension were resulted from hydrograph flow analysis. Furthermore, statistical analysis was conducted to find out the variation of direct runoff, peak discharge, and erosion toward Jati Plus Perhutani catchment and Conventional Teak catchment. The direct runoff in Jati Plus Perhutani catchment was 110,79 mm, while the Conventional Teak catchment was 79,58 mm. Peak discharge showed that both type of teak plants was categorized as very good, with erosion in Jati Plus Perhutani catchment was 39,97 kg/day/ha and Conventional Teak catchment was 20,10 kg/day/ha. Based on these result, erosion both in Jati Plus Perhutani catchment and Conventional Teak catchment were categorized as low that still can be tolerated.
