Pariwisata merupakan sebuah aset penting yang menjadi identitas lokal suatu daerah. Untuk mencari tempat wisata tentunya tidak mudah, setidaknya seseorang harus mengumpulkan informasi terlebih dahulu mengenai letak tempat wisata, biaya untuk tiket masuk ke tempat wisata, dan seberapa mudah tempat wisata tersebut dapat dijangkau oleh kendaraan, kemudian datang ke lokasi wisata untuk kunjungan wisata. Pada penelitian kali ini dibangun sistem informasi pariwisata berbasis web yang memudahkan pengguna melakukan pencarian tempat wisata yang terdapat di Kabupaten Madiun. Dengan adanya sistem ini, Bidang Pariwisata Kabupaten Madiun dapat mempromosikan tempat wisata dengan mudah dan masyarakat mendapat informasi wisata lebih jelas dan lengkap. Sistem Informasi Pariwisata Kabupaten Madiun Berbasis Web dibangun dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, framework CodeIgniter, dan basis data MySQL.Sistem ini mampu menampilkan informasi terkait pariwisata yang ada di Kabupaten Madiun. Selain itu, sistem ini mampu melakukan pengolahan dan pelaporan data wisata, membantu penyebaran informasi tempat wisata, dan pada halaman depan sistem terdapat fitur menuju lokasiyang menghubungkan pengguna dengan tempat wisata secara langsung melalui peta.

Tourism is an important asset as a region identity. Looking for tourism spot is not easy, we have to collect some informations about the location, price of admission and how we can go there by transportation, then go to the tourism object for the vacation. It is built an web based information system that allows the users to look for the tourism spot located in Madiun. With the creation of the system , Tourism Sector of Madiun can promote the tourist spot easily and users can find the tourism spot information clearly and completely . The system is built using PHP, codeIgniter, and MySQL as the database. The system can displays information about tourism spot located in Madiun. Beside, the system can manages and reports tourism data, assisting the dissemination of information and has the feature to the location that connects users with location directly through the map at the first page of this system.
