INTISARI Anjing merupakan salah satu hewan kesayangan yang banyak digemari oleh masyarakat saat ini, sehingga pengetahuan tentang morfologi anjing merupakan hal yang wajib bagi pemiliknya. Tujuan dari penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis anjing dan ciri fisik anjing pedigree atau non-pedigree di Laboratorium Klinik Klinik Hewan Jogja dan Unit K-9 Bandara Adi Soemarmo Solo. Pencatatan klinis pasien didapat dari kartu ambulatoir Laboratorium Klinik Klinik Hewan Jogja yang meliputi nama anjing dan pemilik, berat badan, umur anjing, jenis kelamin, bangsa dan silsilah, pulsus, frekuensi nafas, dan temperature. Setiap anjing diamati warna rambut, moncong, telinga dan warna mata. Panjang tubuh, tinggi tubuh, panjang ekor dan ukuran kepala setiap anjing diukur dengan menggunakan pita ukur. Pencatatan data anjing Unit K-9 juga dilakukan metode pengukuran dan pengamatan, sedangkan untuk menambah kelengkapan diperoleh dengan metode wawancara dengan pihak K-9 mengenai tugas masing-masing anjing K-9 serta sertifikat yang ada. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan rata-rata anjing memiliki ciri fisik ras asli yang baik. Bentuk tengkorak kepala dolichacephalic dimiliki oleh anjing Collie dan Poodle, broad skull dimiliki anjing Golden retriever dan Labrador, flat skull dimiliki anjing Rottweiler dan Doberman. Bentuk hidung winter nose dimiliki anjing Golden retriever, Rottweiler, Labrador, Doberman dan German Shepherd. Bentuk mata wall eyes dimiliki anjing Collie dan Golden retriever, almond eyes dimiliki anjing Shih tzu dan Poodle.

ABSTRACT The dog is one of the pet that is much favored by todays society, knowledge of the morphology of the dog is a must for the owner. The purpose of this thesis was to determine the types of dogs and the physical characteristics of the dog pedigree or non-pedigree in the Clinical Laboratory Yogya Vet Clinic and the Unit K9 Adi Suemarmo Solo. Recording obtained from the patients clinical ambulatory card Clinical Laboratory Yogya Vet Clinic that includes the name of the dog and the owner, weight, age of the dog, gender, race and pedigree, pulsus, frequency of breathing and temperature. Each dog was observed color of hair, muzzle, ears, eye color, body length, body height, tail length and size of the head of each dog was measured with a tape measure. Recording dog unit K9 carried out the method of measurement and observation, to improve the properties obtained by the method of interviews with the K9 regarding the duties of each dog K9 and existing certificates. The results showed the average dog has the physical characteristics of the original race was good. The shape of the skull dolichacephalic owned by Collie and Poodle dog, broad skull owned Golden retriever and Labrador, flat skull owned dogs Rottweiler and Doberman. Nose shaped of winter nose owned Golden retriever, Rottweiler, Labrador, Doberman and German shepherd. Shape of the eye Wall eyes is owned Collie and Golden retriever, almond eyes owned Shih Tzu and Poodle.
