HISTOPATOLOGI PENYAKIT Newcastle Disease PADA AYAM BERDASARKAN DATA DARI BALAI BESAR VETERINER (BBVET) WATES YOGYAKARTA PERIODE TAHUN 2013-2014

Newcastle Disease merupakan penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus dari familia Paramyxoviridae, genus Avian Paramyxovirus-1. Tujuan penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui histopatologi penyakit Newcastle Disease di Balai Besar Veteriner Wates Yogyakarta periode tahun 2013 sampai 2014. Pengambilan data dari Laboratorium Patologi dan Epidemiologi dilakukan pada tanggal 7-11 Maret 2016. Pada tahun 2013 terdapat 255 sampel ayam positif penyakit Newcastle Disease dari 949 sampel yang masuk. Pada tahun 2014 terdapat 76 sampel ayam positif penyakit Newcastle Disease dari 271 sampel yang masuk. Ayam yang terinfeksi Avian Paramyxovirus-1 secara makroskopis tampak adanya warna kemerahan pada serosa usus halus, perdarahan pada proventrikulus, dan perdarahan pada mukosa usus. Secara histopatologi terlihat adanya radang akut hemoragik enteritis berat dan nekrotik ensefalitis berat.

Newcastle Disease is caused by a virus from family Paramyxoviridae, genus Avian Paramyxovirus-1. The purpose of this thesis is to find out the histopathological of Newcastle Disease in Balai Besar Veteriner Wates Yogyakarta period 2013 to 2014. Data collecting of Pathology Laboratory and Epidemiology conducted on March 7 to 11, 2016. In the year 2013, there were 255 positive Newcastle Disease of 949 chicken samples were entered. In the year 2014 there were 76 positive Newcastle Disease of 271 samples of were entered. Chickens infected with Avian Paramyxovirus-1 macroscopically have visible presence of redness in the small intestine serous, bleeding in proventriculus, and bleeding in the intestinal mucosa. Based on histopathology side, it has being seen their acute inflammatory haemorrhagic, necrotic enteritis, and severe encephalitis.
