PENGARUH IRIGASI KOMBINASI NaOCl 3% DAN KHLORHEKSIDIN 2% TERHADAP KEBERSIHAN SALURAN AKAR PADA PERAWATAN PULPEKTOMI GIGI DESIDUI NEKROSIS (Kajian Pulpektomi Satu Kunjungan)

Keberhasilan perawatan ini sangat ditentukan oleh preparasi biomekanis, termasuk irigasi saluran akar. Larutan NaOCl 3% dan klorheksidin 2% merupakan bahan yang efektif untuk irigasi saluran akar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh irigasi kombinasi NaOCl 3% dan klorheksidin 2% terhadap kebersihan saluran akar pada perawatan pulpektomi gigi desidui nekrosis. Penelitian eksperimental semu dilakukan pada 10 gigi desidui nekrosis anterior atas pasien di klinik Kedokteran Gigi Anak RSGM Prof Soedomo FKG UGM. Lima gigi dilakukan pulpektomi dengan irigasi kombinasi NaOCl 3% dan klorheksidin 2% (kelompok I), sedangkan 5 gigi lainya dengan irigasi NaOCl 3% (kelompok II). Kebersihan saluran akar dinilai berdasarkan kekeruhan atau nilai absorbansi yang diukur dengan spektrofotometer dan jumlah koloni bakteri air bilasan saluran akar sebelum dan setelah dilakukan preparasi biomekanis dengan irigasi. Data dianalisis dengan uji Wilcoxon dan Mann Whitney pada tingkat signifikansi 5%. Penurunan nilai kekeruhan dan jumlah koloni bakteri setelah irigasi pada kelompok I dan II menunjukkan perbedaan bermakna(p<0,05). Penurunan nilai kekeruhan kelompok uji lebih tinggi dibandingkan kontrol (p<0,05), sedangkan penurunan jumlah koloni bakterinya tidak bermakna (p>0,05). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa irigasi kombinasi 3% NaOCl dan 2% chlorhexidine efektif membersihkan saluran akar pada perawatan pulpectomy gigi desidui nekrosis. . One visit pulpectomy is one of treatment choices for deciduous tooth with pulp necrosis. The most important step of this treatment is biomechanical preparation, including root canal irrigation. It is known that 3% NaOCl and 2% chlorhexidine are effective solution for root canal irrigation. The purpose of the study was determine the effect of combined irrigation with 3% NaOCl and 2% chlorhexidine to the root canal cleanliness in pulpectomy of deciduous necrosis tooth. A quasi-experimental study was conducted on 10 anterior deciduous necrosis teeth from the patients of the Pediatric Dental Clinic, Prof Soedomo Dental Hospital. The subjects were divided into 2 groups, which all treated one visit pulpectomy. The first group wastreated with combined irrigation with 3% NaOCl and 2% chlorhexidine (treated group); the second group was treated with 3% NaOCl irrigation (control group). The root canal cleanliness was assessed base on the turbidity or absorbance value and the number of bacteria colonies of the aquadest which was flowed into root canal before and after biomechanical preparation procedure. The aquadest absorbance value was measured by spectrophotometer device. The data were analyzed with Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney test at 5% significant level. The decreased of turbidity and bacteria colonies number after irrigation was significant in both groups (p�0,05), however the turbidity decreased of treated group was greater than the control group, whereas the bacteria colonies number was not significant different (p�0,05). It may be concluded that combined irrigation with 3% NaOCl and 2% chlorhexidine was effectively cleaned root canal in pulpectomy of deciduous necrosis tooth. .
