INTISARI Praktek Kerja Lapangan (PKL) pada Balai Besar Veteriner Wates dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui kejadian Fascioliasis di wilayah pulau Jawa pada tahun 2014. Tujuan tugas akhir ini disusun untuk mengetahui sejauh mana kejadian Fascioliasis di wilayah Jawa sehingga dapat menambah pengetahuan bagi mahasiswa . Materi yang dipergunakan untuk penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah kejadian Fascioliasis pada sapi Balai Besar Veteriner Tahun 2014. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah dengan melakukan pencarian data, wawancara dengan pegawai Balai Besar Veteriner Wates. Kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah mengunjungi laboratorium parasitologi dan mengumpulkan data dibagian laboratorium epidemiologi. Kasus Fascioliasis terjadi di pulau Jawa yaitu di provinsi DIY, Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, Jawa Timur. Jumlah kasus di pulau Jawa selama tahun 2014 sebanyak 533 dari total sampel 5.473, dengan presentase kejadian Fascioliasis adalah 9,73%. Pada bulan Agustus jumlah prosentase yang positif menderita Fascioliasis sebanyak 27,22 dari sampel. Dapat disimpulkan kejadian Fascioliasis paling tinggi terjadi pada bulan Agustus.

ABSTRACT Field practice on Balai Besar Veteriner Wates carried out determine the incidence Fascioliasis in the island of Java in 2014. Goal of this thesis is structured to determine the extent of the incidence of Fascioliasis in the region of Java island so as to increase knowledge for students. The material used for this thesis in the incidence of Fascioliasis in cattle Balai Besar Veteriner in 2014. The methods used to collect data is to search the data, interviews with employees Balai Besar Veteriner Wates. The activities carried out is to visit the laboratory of parasitology and epidemiology laboratory collected data section. Fascioliasis cases occurred on the island of Java, namely in the provinces of Yogyakarta, Wast Barat, Central Java, East Java. The number of cases on the island of Java during 2014 as many as 533 of the total 5473 samples, with the percentage of Fascioliasis incidence was 9.73%. In August the percentage of positif suffering as much as 27.22 from samples Fascioliasis. It can be concluded Fascioliasis highest incidence occurred in August.
