SUMMARY THE INFLUENCE OF PLATELET RICH PLASMA ACTIVATED COLLAGEN TO THE GINGIVA RECESSION TREATMENT BY CORONALLY ADVANCED FLAP METHOD ( Study in: Recession Depth, Recession width, Clinical Attachment Level, Probing depth and Keratinized gingiva )

Coronally Advanced Flap (CAF), merupakan teknik perawatan resesi gingiva Millers kelas I dan kelas II, keuntungan teknik ini adalah tidak memerlukan donor jaringan dari sisi lateral, memiliki warna sama dengan jaringan sekitar nya dan estetik baik. Kombinasi beberapa metode bedah mukogingiva memberikan hasil lebih baik dibandingkan dengan penggunaan satu teknik. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi Platelete Rich Plasma (PRP) aktivasi kolagen pada perawatan resesi gingiva metode CAF dilihat dari parameter klinis poket depth (PD), recession depth (RD), recession width (RW), clinical attacmant level (CAL) dan keratinized gingival (KG). Sampel diambil dari 14 gigi resesi yang dibagi dalam 2 kelompok perlakuan. Kelompok 1, CAF dengan PRP aktivasi kolagen. Kelompok 2, CAF dengan PRP tanpa aktivasi. Dilakukan pengamatan pada baseline, 1 dan 3 bulan dengan mengukur parameter klinis PD, RD, RW, CAL dan KG. Data dianalisis dengan uji nonparametrik Friedman dan uji mann Whitney dengan derajat kepercayaan 95% Hasil menunjukan ada perbedaan bermakna antara PRP dengan dan tanpa aktivasi kolagen pada perawatan resesi gingiva metode CAF dilihat dari parameter klinis, RD, RW, CAL KG dan tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna pada PD. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah PRP dengan aktivasi kolagen berpengaruh mengurangi RD, RW dan meningkatkan CAL, berpengaruh sama dalam meningkatan KG tetapi tidak berpengaruh mengurangi PD,dibanding dengan PRP tanpa aktivasi kolagen pada perawatan resesi gingiva metode Coronally Advanced Flap.

Coronally Advaced Flap (CAF), is a treatment of Millers gingival recession technique in class I and II, the advantages of this technique is it does not require a donor or pedicle graft, it has the same colour around its graft and has a good estetic. The combination of several methods of surgical mucogingival gave a better result compared with the using of one technique. The purpose of this research is to know the influence on Platelete Rich Plasma(PRP) combination collagen activation on CAF method gingiva recession treatment which seen from the clinical parameter : poket depth (PD), recession depth (RD), recession width (RW), clinical attachment level (CAL), and keratinized gingival (KG). The sample was taken from 14 recession teeth which was divided into 2 groups of treatment. Group 1, was CAF with PRP collagen activation. Group 2, is CAF with PRP non collagen activation. The observation is on the baseline, 1 month after the baseline and 3 month after the baseline by measure off the clinical parameter : PD, RD, RW CAL, and KG. Data analized is by Friedman nonparametic test and Mann Whitney test with 95% degree of confidence. The result show that there issignificant difference between PRP collagen activation and PRP without collagen activation on the CAF method of gingiva recession treatment which seen from the clinical parameter : RD, RW, increasing of CAL, KG and there is no significant difference on PD,. The conclusion of the research is PRP with collagen activation gave reaction in reducing RD, RW and increase the CAL, KG but not the effect to reducting PD, compared with PRP without collagen activation on the gingiva recession treatment in CAF method.
