ANALISIS UJI KELAYAKAN INVESTASI MESIN CETAK BEDAK OTOMATIS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KAPASITAS PRODUKSI STUDI PADA PT. CIPTA SARANA KENAYU LESTARI

Hal ini disebabkan karena perencanaan kapasitas akan menentukan seberapa besar tingkat keluaran ataupun output yang mampu dihasilkan oleh perusahaan untuk memenuhi permintaan pasar. Perencanaan kapasitas yang melibatkan investasi pada penambahan peralatan baru, dikategorikan pada perencanaan kapasitas jangka panjang. Penelitian ini mengambil studi kasus pada PT. Cipta Sarana Kenayu Lestari (CSKL) untuk menentukan kelayakan investasi mesin cetak bedak padat otomatis dalam rangka meningkatkan kapasitas produksi dari aspek kelayakan biaya dan kelayakan produksi dan juga untuk menentukan cara pengadaan investasi mesin serta jumlah pengadaan investasi mesin cetak bedak otomatis. Untuk menentukan kelayakan investasi mesin dari aspek biaya menggunakan analisa Break Even Point (BEP), dan untuk menentukan kelayakan investasi mesin dari kelayakan produksi dengan membandingkan antara kapasitas terpasang dari mesin cetak bedak otomatis dengan jumlah ramalan permintaan tahun 2016. Metode yang digunakan untuk menentukan cara pengadaan mesin cetak bedak otomatis dengan analisa Benefit/Cost Ratio (B/C ratio) dan dengan metode Decision Tree. Untuk menghitung jumlah pengadaan investasi mesin dengan membandingkan jumlah unit yang diharapkan dengan jumlah kapasitas mesin teoritis. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa hasil analisa BEP dari mesin cetak bedak otomatis adalah Rp. 2.691.915.153,18; menghasilkan TWC sebanyak 73.538,39 unit; compact 22.191,56 unit; blush on 3.132 unit; eyeshadow 5.051,29 unit. Sedangkan berdasarkan peramalan penjualan untuk tahun 2016 yaitu mencapai Rp. 18.589.173.000; TWC 581.028 unit; compact 40.963 unit; blush on 18.135 unit; eyeshadow 35.906 unit. Hasil persentase penggunaan kapasitas mesin adalah 84%. Berdasarkan hasil analisa BEP dan hasil persentasi penggunaan kapasitas mesin, investasi mesin cetak bedak padat otomatis layak untuk dilakukan. Untuk cara pengadaan dilakukan dengan cara sewa dan jumlah pengadaan mesin cetak bedak otomatis adalah 1 mesin.
Capacity planning has a central role in realizing a company’s goals in a long run. This is due to the fact that a capacity planning will determine the output level produced by a company in order to fulfill the demand of the market. The capacity planning that involves an investment on a new equipment addition is categorized into a long-term capacity planning. This research was in the form of a case study conducted at PT. Cipta Sarana Kenayu Lestari (CSKL) to determine the feasibility of an investment on an automatic powder press machine in order to improve the production capacity in terms of cost feasibility and production feasibility as well as to determine the method of the machine investment procurement and the number of the automatic powder press machine procurement. The feasibility of the investment on the machine in terms of cost was determined using Break Even Point (BEP) analysis, and the feasibility of the investment on the machine in terms of production was determined by comparing the installed capacity of the automatic powder press machine to the number of the predicted demand by 2016. To determine the method of the automatic powder press machine procurement, Benefit/Cost Ratio (B/C ratio) analysis and Decision Tree method were used. The calculation of the number of the machine investment procurement was conducted by comparing the expected number of units to the theoretical machine capacity. This research yielded results that the results of BEP analysis on the automatic powder press machine was Rp. 2,691,915,153.18; producing 73,538.39 units of TWC powder; 22,191.56 units of compact powder; 3,132 units of blush; and 5,051.29 units of eyeshadow. Meanwhile, based on the prediction, the sales by 2016 will reach RP. 18,589,173,000; 581,028 units of TWC powder; 40,963 units of compact powder; 18,135 units of blush; and 35,906 units of eyeshadow. The percentage of the machine capacity use was 84%. Based on the results of the BEP analysis and percentage of the machine capacity use, the investment on the automatic powder press machine is feasible to be made. The method of the procurement is renting and the number of the automatic powder press machine is 1 machine.
