Penelitian tesis dengan tema hukum ketenagakerjaan dengan judul Tinjauan Yuridis Pemutusan Hubungan Kerja Akibat Naik Turun Harga Bahan Bakar Minyak Ditinjau Dari Undang-Undang Nomor 13 Tahun 2003 tentang Ketenagakerjaan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis naik turun harga bahan bakar minyak dari perspektif overmacht dan perlindungan hukum terhadap pekerja/buruh yang terkena pemutusan hubungan kerja atau PHK akibat naik turun harga bahan bakar minyak (BBM). Penelitian tesis menggunakan metode penelitian yuridis normatif dengan studi dokumentasi yaitu dengan mengumpulkan bahan hukum primer , bahan sekunder dan bahan hukum tersier dan yuridis empiris dengan mengumpulkan data secara langsung dengan melakukan wawancara dengan responden dan lokasi penelitian. Naik turun harga bahan bakar minyak bisa termasuk force majuer diluar kehendak para pihak yaitu pekerja/buruh dan pengusaha karena Undang-Undang Nomor 13 Tahun 2003 tentang Ketenagakerjaan mengatur kondisi force majeure dalam pasal 164 ayat (1) dan alasan pengusaha untuk melakukan pemutusan hubungan kerja karena efisiensi tidak tepat karena alasan efisiensi diatur dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 13 Tahun 2003 tentang Ketenagakerjaan pasal 164 ayat (3).

Theme of Thesis Research by the title of the Juridical Review Of Termination Of Employment Relationship Due To Fluctuating Of Fuel Oil Price In Terms Of Law No 13 of 2003 Concerning Manpower to know and analyze fluctuating of fuel oil price from the perspective of overmacht and legal protection of workers affected by the termination of the employment relationship due to fluctuating of oil price. Thesis using 2 (two) research methods combinations which are juridical normative with documentations study in collected data and juridical empirical with directly gathered data by doing interviews with the respondents and location research. Fluctuating of fuel oil price could include force majeure beside of the will of the parties, namely the labor/workers and employers because Law No. 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower set up force majeure condition in article 164 paragraph (1) and the reasons employers to perform termination of employment relationships since inappropriate and efficiency reasons that differences termination for reasons of efficiency of employment relationships are regulated in the Law No 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower in article 164 paragraph (3).
