There are two frameworks in discussing IT Acceptance: the theory of planned behavior (TPB) and the technology acceptance model (TAM), TPB states that behavioral intention is jointly determined by three factors: attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control. While, TAM posits that IT adoption is affected by attitude, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use. Bank Rakyat Indonesia has replaced its old core banking system with the new one, called BRINETS (BRI Integrated Network and Information System). This study focused on user’s acceptance on BRINETS. The user’s acceptance is crucial to the success of innovation of new technology. In implementing a technology, user could resist at any time, either when the system is being implemented or in daily operations. Using TPB framework, finding of this study shown that intention to accept BRINETS could be predicted by attitudinal factors only. In this case, the items were positive user’s feeling, ease of access data needed, and perceived usefulness.
