PENGARUH PEMBERIAN SUPLEMEN PENINGGI BADAN FISH CALCIUM DAN YGF251 PADA TIKUS GALUR WISTAR

Bahan alami Fish calcium dan Young Growth Factor (YGF) 251 diduga dapat dikombinasikan sebagai produk suplemen peninggi badan. Penelitian terdahulu membuktikan tulang ikan danekstrak YGF 251 dapat menstimulasi pertumbuhan tulang dan meningkatkan hormon Insulin Growth Factor (IGF) - 1.Tujuan penelitian ini adalahuntuk mengetahui efek farmakologi pemberian suplemen kombinasi Fish Calcium dan YGF 251 pada tikus galur Wistar. Tikus galur Wistar yang digunakan berjumlah 20 ekor betina dan 20 ekor jantan berumur 6-8 minggu dengan bobot ±130 g. Tikus dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok dosis yaitu kontrol (Na CMC 0,5%),kelompok dosis 48, 144, dan 432 mg/kgBB. Pemejanan berlangsung selama 28 hari. Pengukurannose to tail dan nose to anustikus dilakukan pada hari ke-0 dan ke-28. Hari ke-29 dilakukan sampling darah untuk mengecek kadar IGF-1 dan pembedahan untuk mengetahui profil panjang femur dan bobot jenis tulang. Analisis hasil data digunakan uji statistikOne Way ANOVA dengan taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanyaperbedaan bermakna (p<0,05) bila dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol yaitu terjadi penurunan panjang pada parameter nose to anusdan panjang tulang tungkai tikus betina dosis 48 mg/kgBB,serta pada profil bobot jenis tulang tungkaitikus jantan. Suplemen peninggi badan mempunyai kecenderungan mempengaruhi pertumbuhan pada tikus.

The Fish calcium and YGF 251 as a natural products can be combined as height supplement. The former research proved that the fish calcium and ygf 251 can stimulate bone growth and increase IGF 1. The goal of this research is to understand pharmacological effects after giving the combined supplement of fish calcium and YGF 251 to Wistar rats. This research used 20 female and 20 male Wistar rats between age of 6 and 8 weeks weighted 130 g. The rats were constantly given the supplement for 28 days and divided by 4 groups: control group (Na CMC 0,5%), dosage group of 48, 144, and 432 mg/kgBB. The measurement of nose to tail and nose to anus were done at day 0 and 28. The blood sample was taken and examined at day 29 to check IGF-1. At the same day, surgery was done to measure leg length profile and leg bone mass. This research used one way anova as analysis data measurement with significance level 95%. The result showed that there were significant differences (p<0,05) compared to the control group which could be proven by the decreasing of lenght measurement of nose to anus and the leg of female rats with dosage 48 mg/kgBB, and also the leg bone mass of male rats. The Height suplement has tendency to influence the growth of Wistar rats.
