PENYUSUNAN PETA TAKTUAL RSUP Dr. SARDJITO YOGYAKARTA

Tunanetra membutuhkan fasilitas dalam mengenali informasi spasial yang dapat disajikan dalam bentuk peta taktual. Lokasi penelitian di RSUP Dr. Sardjito yang merupakan rumah sakit terbesar yang ada di Yogyakarta. Tujuan penelitian yaitu (1) Mengetahui informasi yang dibutuhkan oleh tunanetra tentang fasilitas RSUP Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta (2) Membuat peta taktual secara kartografis RSUP Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta (3) Melakukan uji keterbacaan terhadap peta taktual RSUP Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara dengan tunanetra untuk menentukan tujuan satu, pembuatan master map dan produksi peta dengan tehnik thermoforming dan uji keterbacaan peta taktual dengan panduan kuisioner. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa simbol area lebih mudah dipahami dibandingkan dengan simbol yang lain.

Blind people need a facility in recognizing spatial information around them that can be served in the informative and practical map in tactile map. The location of research in RSUP Dr. Sardjito which is the largest hospital in Yogyakarta. The purpose of this research are (1) to find out the information that required by the blind about facilities RSUP Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta (2) to make a tactile map in cartographical of RSUP Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta (3) to do the readability test on the tactile map RSUP Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta. This research uses interviews with blind people to determine the first point to created a master map and map production with thermoforming technique and readability test tactual maps with a guide questionnaire. The test results indicate that the area symbol more easily understood than the other symbols.
