HUBUNGAN KELENGKAPAN INFORMASI LEMBAR IGD DENGAN KETEPATAN KODE PENYEBAB LUAR KASUS KECELAKAAN BERDASARKAN ICD-10 DI RSU PKU MUHAMMADIYAH BANTUL

Latar Belakang: Kelengkapan informasi penyebab luar memiliki pengaruh yang paling tinggi terhadap kualitas kode penyebab luar. Kelengkapan data mengenai penyebab luar sangat penting untuk menentukan kebijakan. Salah satu penyebab luar yang sering terjadi adalah kecelakaan lalu lintas. Penyebab luar akan disertakan ketika pasien tersebut merupakan pasien trauma atau pasien kecelakaan. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan di RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul menunjukkan terdapat cukup banyak lembar IGD yang tidak lengkap informasi penyebab luarnya. Tujuan: Mengetahui persentase kelengkapan informasi lembar IGD dan ketepatan kode penyebab luar kasus kecelakaan di RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul dan mengetahui hubungan kelengkapan informasi lembar IGD dengan ketepatan kode penyebab luar kasus kecelakaan berdasarkan ICD 10. Metode Penelitian: Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei analitik dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan potong silang (cross sectional). Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 66 lembar IGD kasus kecelakaan. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik Fisher’s Exact. Hasil : Kelengkapan informasi lembar IGD di RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul sebanyak 45 lembar IGD (68%) dengan kategori lengkap. Sebanyak 21 lembar IGD (32%) dengan kategori tidak lengkap. Ketepatan kode penyebab luar kasus kecelakaan di RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul sebanyak 7 kode penyebab luar kasus kecelakaan (11%) dengan kategori tepat. Sebanyak 59 kode penyebab luar kasus kecelakaan (89%) dengan kategori tidak tepat. Hasil uji statistik Fisher’s Exact, diperoleh p-value 0,001. Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan antara kelengkapan informasi lembar IGD dengan ketepatan kode penyebab luar kasus kecelakaan.

Background: The completeness information of external cause has a high influence against the quality of external cuase coding. The completeness of data concerning external cause is very important for determine the policy. One of the most happening external cause is traffic accident. External cause will included when a patient was traumatic injured or a victim of an accident. Based on introduction study in RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul shows that uncompleteness information of external cause in emergency sheets are quite a lot. Objective: This research aim is to know the relationship between completeness information of emergency sheets with the accuracy of external cause coding of accident case based ICD-10 in RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul. Methods: This research used survey analytic research with quantitative approach and used cross sectional study design. The sample are 66 emergency sheets inpatient with accident cases medical records from October to December 2015. Data collection techniques that had been used was documentation study. The research instrument is check list. The research was analyzed with Fisher’s Exact test. Results: Persentation of completeness with complete categories is 45 emergency sheets (68%) and 21 emergency sheets (32%) with uncomplete categories. Persentation of accuracy of external cause coding with accurate categories is 7 (11%) external cause coding and 59 (89%) with not accurate categories. Fisher’s Exact test shows that p-value is 0,001. Conclusion: There is a relationship between completeness information of emergency sheets with the accuracy of external cause coding of accident case based ICD-10 in RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul.
