KONTRIBUSI INDUSTRI KERAJINAN KAYU TERHADAP PENDAPATAN MASYARAKAT (Studi Kasus Di Dusun Bobung. Kecamatan Patuk, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta)

Pada dasarnya industri kerajinan topeng kayu merupakan mata pencaharian sampingan untuk menambah kebutuhan ekonomi masyarakatnya namun semakin berkembangnya dan semakin banyaknya pesanan sejak tahun 1980, maka mata pencaharian sebagai pengrajin kayu menjadi mata pencaharian utama masyarakat Dusun Bobung namun masyarakat Dusun Bobung tidak meninggalkan kegiatan bertani atau berladang, melainkan menjadikan pekerjaan sampingan mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi sumber-sumber pendapatan masyarakat di Dusun Bobung, dan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kontribusi pendapatan dari sektor industri kerajinan kayu. Pengambilan data lapangan dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi di lapangan dan wawancara secara langsung dengan responden yaitu tenaga kerja dan pengusaha industri kerajinan kayu di Dusun Bobung Gunungkidul. Pendapatan dari sektor industri kerajinan kayu memberikan hasil persentase terbesar bila dibandingkan dengan kegiatan bertani, berladang, dan beternak. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan dari sektor industri kerajinan kayu memberikan kontribusi sebesar 43,21%. Hasil ini tentu sangat besar, karena hampir 90% masyarakat yang berada di Dusun Bobung ini memilih bekerja sebagai pengrajin. Oleh karena itu dengan adanya industri kerajinan kayu di Dusun Bobung dapat dikatakan benar-benar sangat besar kontribusi yang diberikan terhadap pendapatan masyarakat sekitar.

The craft industry is basically a wooden mask is a side to increase the livelihood needs of the people but the growing economy and a growing number of orders since the 1980, then the livelihoods as artisans and wood are the main livelihood of the community of the village Bobung community but does not leave farming activities or cultivating, but rather made their side jobs. This research aims to identify the sources of income of people in the hamlet of Bobung, and to know how large the contribution revenue from timber craft industry sector. Data retrieval is done by field observation in the field and doing the interview directly with respondent, namely labor and industry enterpreneur Bobung woodwork in the hamlet of Gunungkidul. Revenue from industrial sector wood craft delivers the largest percentage when compared with the activity of farming, tillage, and ranching. The results show that income from craft wood industry sector contributed amounted to 43,21%. These results are certainly enormous, because almost 90% of the community who reside in the hamlet of Bobung chooses worked as craftsmen. Therefore the existance of wooden craft industry in the hamlet of Bobung to be said really very great contribution given towards the income of the local community.
