Kemelimpahan dan Keragaman Amorphophallus spp. di Pulau Alor, Nusa Tenggara Timur Dita Innata 11/313184/BI/8614 Intisari Pulau Alor, NTT memiliki sumber daya alam yang melimpah salah satunya adalah Amorphophallus spp. Tanaman ini termasuk dalam famili Araceae. Umbi yang dihasilkan tanaman ini mengandung glukomanan yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber alternatif pangan, bahan industri kimia, atau obat-obatan. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian tentang kemelimpahan dan keragaman Amorphophallus spp. di Pulau Alor berdasarkan tingkat ketinggian lahan. Selain itu juga untuk mengetahui pemanfaatannya di masyarakat. Pengambilan data penelitian dilakukan pada ketinggian 0 - 900 mdpl yang terbagi dalam enam stasiun yaitu: (0-150, 151 - 300, 301-450, 451 - 600, 601-750, dan 751-900) mdpl dengan menggunakan metode kuadrat plot berukuran 10 x 10 m2. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa tanaman tersebut tersebar merata pada berbagai tipe ketinggian. Jenis yang ditemukan adalah Amorphophallus muelleri Blume, Amorphophallus paeoniifolius (Dennst.). Nicolson., dan Amorphophallus variabilis Blume. Rerata densitas tertinggi dijumpai pada ketinggian 0-150 mdpl, dan terendah pada 301-450 mdpl. Diketahui bahwa tidak terdapat korelasi signifikan antara densitas dengan ketinggian dengan menggunakan analisis Spearman's rank correlation. Sampai saat ini belum ada pemanfaatan secara optimal oleh warga terhadap kemelimpahan Amorphophallus di Pulau Alor. Kata kunci: Alor, Amorphophallus, kemelimpahan, keragaman, ketinggian

Diversity and Abundance of Amorphophallus spp. in Alor Island, Nusa Tenggara Timur Dita Innata 11/313184/BI/8614 Abstract Alor Island, NTT has abundant natural resources. One of them is Amorphophallus spp. This plant belongs to the Araceae family. The existence of this plant is very important as its bulbs produce glucomannan which can be used as an alternative source of foods, chemical industrial materials, or drugs. Therefore, this research focused on diversity and abundance of Amorphophallus spp. based on the lands altitude in Alor Island. Furthermore, it was also conducted in order to learn its utility in the society. The data of this research was carried out at the altitude of 0-900 meters above sea level divided in six station there are (0-150, 151-300, 301-450, 451-600, 601-750, dan 751-900) meters above sea level . This research used squared plot (10 x 10 m2) method. Based on the results, it was shown that the plant spread over in every types of altitude, the species found were Amorphophallus muelleri Blume, Amorphophallus paeoniifolius (Dennst.). Nicolson., and Amorphophallus variabilis Blume. The average highest density was at the altitude 0-150 meters above sea level, and the lowest density is at 301-450 meters above sea level. It was found that there is no significant correlation between the density and the altitude analyzed using Spearman's rank correlation analysis. Until now, there is no optimal utilization of Amorphophallus spp. in Alor Island by the resident. Keywords: Abundance, Alor, Altitude, Amorphophallus, Diversity
