Pemahaman Petugas Rekam Medis Terhadap Penyusutan Berkas Rekam Medis Di RSJD Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Provinsi Jawa Tengah

INTISARI Latar belakang: Penyusutan merupakan salah satu sarana penting untuk mengatasi masalah bertumpuknya arsip-arsip yang tidak mempunyai nilai guna lagi. Arsip-arsip yang tidak mempunyai nilai guna lagi sebaiknya dimusnahkan agar tersedia tempat penyimpanan dan fasilitas pemeliharaan yang lebih baik terhadap arsip-arsip yang masih mempunyai nilai guna. Di RSJD Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Provinsi Jawa Tengah sudah pernah melakukan penyusutan berkas rekam medis, salah satunya yaitu melakukan pemilahan berkas rekam medis dari aktif ke inaktif. Akan tetapi sejak rumah sakit itu berdiri sampai sekarang belum pernah melakukan pemusnahan terhadap berkas rekam medis inaktif, sehingga berkas rekam medis inaktif yang seharusnya sudah dimusnahkan masih disimpan di tempat penyimpanan rekam medis inaktif. Hal ini menyebabkan rak penyimpanan berkas rekam medis inaktif semakin penuh dan sudah tidak mencukupi lagi untuk menampung berkas rekam medis inaktif yang baru, sehingga ada sebagian berkas rekam medis yang hanya diikat dan diletakkan di lantai. Dalam hal ini, petugas rekam medis mempunyai tanggung jawab dalam terlaksananya kegiatan penyusutan berkas rekam medis di Rumah Sakit tersebut. Untuk itu, pemahaman dari petugas rekam medis terhadap kegiatan penyusutan berkas rekam medis sangatlah penting dalam mendukung kelancaran pelaksanaan kegiatan penyusutan. Tujuan: Mengetahui sistem penyusutan berkas rekam medis di RSJD Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Provinsi Jawa Tengah dan mengetahui tingkat pemahaman petugas rekam medis tentang materi penyusutan berkas rekam medis. Metode penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan rancangan penelitian studi kasus (case study). Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes, observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil: Kegiatan penyusutan berkas rekam medis di RSJD Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Provinsi Jawa Tengah sudah berjalan, akan tetapi pelaksanaannya belum optimal. Selain itu, rumah sakit belum mempunyai jadwal penyusutan rutin dan belum pernah melakukan pemusnahan berkas rekam medis sehingga menyebabkan rak penyimpanan berkas rekam medis penuh. Tingkat pemahaman petugas rekam medis terhadap penyusutan berkas rekam medis di RSJD Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Provinsi Jawa Tengah sebanyak 1 atau 9,09% responden mempunyai tingkat pemahaman sangat memahami. Kemudian sebanyak 8 atau 72,73% responden mempunyai tingkat pemahaman memahami. Sedangkan sebanyak 2 atau 18,18% responden mempunyai tingkat pemahaman cukup memahami.

ABSTRACT Background: Shrinkage is one of the important tool to solve the problem of files accumulation that do not have a value anymore. Those files should be destroyed in order to provide a better storage and maintenance facilities toward the files which are have a value. It has been done in RSJD Dr. RM.Soedjarwadi Central Java province, one of that is sorting medical record files from active to inactive.However, it have not been commited towards inactive medical record files since the hospital established, so that inactive medical record files which should have been destroyed are still in the inactive storage . It makes the shelves of this storage is getting full and it is not sufficient anymore to keep a new inactive medical record files, so there is some of medical record files which is only tied up and laid on the floor. In this case, the medical record officers has a responsibility to implement the shrinkage of medical record files activity in this hospital. For that reason, the understandingof medical record officers towards the shrinkage medical record files is very importantin order to support the effectiveness of the shrinkage implementation activity. Objective: Knowing the shrinkage medical record files system in RSJD Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Central Java province and knowing the level of understanding of medical record officers about the material of shrinkage medical record files. Methods: This research is conducted by using a descriptive method and a qualitative approach and case study research. The data collection technique is conducted in the form of tests, observation, interview and documentation study. Results: The shrinkage of medical record files activity in RSJD Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Central Java province has been worked, but the implementation does not optimal yet. In addition, the hospital does not have routine shrinkage schedule and it never commited so that the shelves of medical record files are full. The level of understanding of the medical record officers toward the shrinkage medical record files in RSJD Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Central Java, 1 or 9.09% of respondents have a high understanding level. Then 8 or 72.73% of respondents have a medium understanding level. While 2 or 18.18% of respondents have sufficient understanding level.
