UNSUR-UNSUR INTRINSIK CERPEN "TA'ALLAMTUL-HUBBA" DALAM ANTOLOGI CERPEN TA'ALLAMTUL-HUBBA KARYA NAWAL AS-SADAWI: ANALISIS STRUKTURAL ROBERT STANTON

Penelitian ini membahas unsur-unsur intrinsik cerpen "Ta'allamtul-Hubba" dalam antologi cerpen Ta'allamtul-Hubba karya Nawal as-Sa'dawi. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah teori struktural Robert Stanton. Unsur-unsur intrinsik yang dibahas mencakup fakta cerita yang terdiri atas karakter, alur, dan latar, kemudian tema, serta sarana cerita yang terdiri atas judul dan sudut pandang. Penelitian ini juga membahas keterkaitan antarunsur. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tema cerpen adalah kebahagiaan itu terletak pada sikap menghargai dan mencintai orang lain tanpa memandang rupa fisik. Tema ini dianalisis berdasarkan konflik-konflik dalam cerpen. Tokoh utama cerpen adalah tokoh Aku karena selalu muncul di setiap peristiwa dari awal sampai akhir. Alur cerpen ini terdiri atas tiga tahap. Tahap awal mengenalkan tokoh Aku, latar desa Talhah, dan konflik awal di saat tokoh Aku menunjukkan sikap tidak menghargai fisik Paman Mahmud. Tahap tengah menceritakan peningkatan konflik di saat tokoh Aku merasa tidak nyaman dengan sikapnya sendiri terhadap Paman Mahmud dan klimaks di saat tokoh Aku merasa kehilangan ketika Paman Mahmud tidak hadir bersamanya. Tahap akhir menceritakan peleraian di saat tokoh Aku merasa tidak ada perbedaan antara dirinya dengan Paman Mahmud dan orang-orang di sekitarnya. Latar tempat dalam cerpen adalah Mesir, sedangkan latar waktu tidak secara eksplisit disebutkan, tetapi ada beberapa latar waktu yang ditemukan, yaitu pagi dan malam. Judul cerpen mengacu pada tokoh utama. Sudut pandang yang digunakan adalah orang pertama sentral. Tema, tokoh utama, tokoh tambahan, konflik, dan judul merupakan unsur-unsur yang memperlihatkan dengan jelas adanya keterkaitan antarunsur dalam menghasilkan makna.

This study discusses the intrinsic elements of the short story "Ta'allamtul-Hubba" in anthology of short stories Ta'allamtul-Hubba by Nawal as-Sa'dawi. The theory used in this study is srtructural theory of Robert Stanton. The intrinsict elements that are discussed consist of facts of the story: characters and characterizations, plot, and setting, the theme, and the literary devices which consist of title and point of view. This study also analyzes the relations among those elements. This study concludes that the theme of this short story is the happiness is implemented through respecting and loving to others without seeing physical aspect of the other. The theme was analyzed based on conflicts. The main character is "I" because character "I" always appears in every single event from the beginning until the end. The plot comprises of three stages. The first stage tells about introducing "I", Talhah village, and first conflict when "I" behaved irresponsive to Uncle Mahmud physic. The mid stage tells raising conflict when "I" felt guilty of his own behave to Uncle Mahmud and turning climax up when "I" felt loss because Uncle Mahmud had not been with him. The end stage tells resolution when "I" felt nothing difference between himself and Uncle Mahmud and others. The place setting in this story is Egypt while the time setting is not told explicitly, but there are time settings found out in this story that are morning and night. The title refers to the main character. The point of view in this story is the first person-central. Theme, main character, additional character, conflicts, and title in this short story has relations with each other thus together they form a whole meaning.
