Rancang Bangun Jam Portabel Beserta Sistem Peringatan Bahaya Suhu Ekstrim Dengan Output Suara

Indera penglihatan merupakan salah satu indera yang memiliki peran penting bagi individu untuk mengetahui informasi terkait waktu serta pengetahuan kondisi lingkungan sekitarnya. Keterbatasan individu dalam memahami waktu dan keadaan cuaca cukup membahayakan dikarenakan saat ini cuaca buruk sering terjadi di Indonesia. Perubahan suhu yang relatif naik dapat mempengaruhi kondisi kesehatan manusia, tidak terkecuali bagi individu yang memiliki keterbatasan penglihatan. Pada tugas akhir ini dirancang sebuah sistem waktu yang dilengkapi dengan alarm peringatan suhu ekstrim bagi penyandang tunanetra. Sistem ini dirancang dengan menggunakan Arduino Nano sebagai pemrosesnya, RTC DS1307 sebagai IC pewaktu, sensor DHT11 sebagai pembaca suhu lingkungan, DFPlayer Mini MP3 sebagai pemutar suara keluaran sensor dan RTC. Hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan adalah sistem mampu memberikan informasi berupa terkait waktu yang sesuai dengan waktu yang diakses oleh PC maupun perangkat lainnya. Selain itu, sistem ini mampu memberikan peringatan terkait suhu ekstrim sehingga pengguna mampu mencegah bahaya dari suhu ekstrim tersebut. Sistem ini di catu dengan baterai LiPo yang mampu bertahan selama 7 jam, serta sistem ini berhasil dikemas dalam bentuk portabel sehingga mudah dibawa oleh pengguna saat melakukan aktivitas.

Sense of sight is one of senses that play an essential role for individuals to identify the information in terms of time and information about the condition of environment surrounding. The limitation of individual in understanding the time and condition of weather is quite worrying in that at the moment the bad weather frequently occurs in Indonesia. The temperature change that is relatively increasing can influence the condition of human health including for the individual that has the limitation in sight. In this final assignment, a time system equipped with warning alarm of extreme temperature for the blind people. This system is designed using Arduino Nano as the processor, RTC DS1307 as the IC timer, sensor DHT11 as the reader of temperature of environment, DFPlayer Mini MP3 as the voice player of sensor and RTC output. The result of the testing that has been conducted showed the ability of system to provide the information regarding the time in line with the time accessed by PC and other devices. In addition, this system is able to provide a warning related to the extreme temperature enabling the user to prevent the danger of the extreme temperature. This system was supplied with LiPo battery that is durable for 7 hours. It was successfully packaged in the portable form making it easy to be carried by the users when doing activities.
