Diberikan suatu himpunan tak kosong G dengan dua operasi biner berbeda ,misalkan + dan *, dan dinotasikan (G,+,*). Himpunan (G,+,*) dikatakan bigrup jika himpunan tersebut mempunyai himpunan bagian sejati G1 dan G2, dan G1 merupakan grup terhadap operasi + serta G2 adalah grup terhadap operasi *. Dalam tugas akhir ini akan dibahas tentang definisi dan sifat-sifat dari suatu bigrup, serta keterkaitan konsep grup dan konsep bigrup.

Given a non empty set G with two different binary operation + and *, and denoted as (G,+,*). A set of (G,+,*) is said bigroup if the set has a true subset of G1 and G2, and is a group of operation + and is a group of operation *. In this thesis will be discussed about the definition and properties about bigroup , as well as the relevance of the group concept against the bigroup concept.
