HUBUNGAN STATUS PEKERJAAN DENGAN DEPRESI PADA WANITA INFERTIL DI KLINIK PERMATA HATI RSUP DR. SARDJITO YOGYAKARTA

Latar Belakang: Estimasi angka infertilitas di dunia mencapai 48,5 juta pasangan. Infertilitas akan menyebabkan gangguan psikologis berupa depresi yang lebih sering terjadi pada perempuan dengan prognosis yang lebih buruk, berlangsung lebih lama, dan sering kambuh dibanding depresi pada pria. Wanita infertil yang tidak bekerja memiliki kerentanan terhadap gangguan psikologis. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui status pekerjaan dengan depresi pada wanita yang infertil di Klinik Permata Hati RSUP Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan status pekerjaan dengan depresi pada wanita yang infertil di Klinik Permata Hati RSUP Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional. Subjek penelitian diminta mengisi kuesioner Beck Depression Inventory (BDI-II). Sampel diambil dari populasi secara consecutive. Hasil kuesioner dianalisis menggunakan Chi-square uji Fischer Exact dengan software SPSS versi 22 untuk mencari hubungan status pekerjaan dengan depresi pada wanita yang infertil di Klinik Permata Hati RSUP Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta. Hasil: Tidak terdapat hubungan antara status pekerjaan dengan depresi pada wanita infertil di Klinik Permata Hati RSUP Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta, P = 0,484 (P > 0,05). Faktor gaya hidup lain juga tidak signifikan mempengaruhi kejadian depresi.

Background: An estimated 48.5 million couples worldwide were infertile. Infertility causes psychological disorders such as depression are more common in women with a worse prognosis, last longer, and often recur than depression in men. Unemployed women are particularly vulnerable to psychological disorders. Therefore, the researcher of this study felt the importance to conduct a study about the correlation of status of work in infertile women in Permata Hati Clinic of Dr. Sardjito Hospital Yogyakarta. Objective: This study aim to identify the correlation between the employment status of depression in infertile women in Permata Hati Clinic of Dr. Sardjito Hospital Yogyakarta. Methods: This study uses a cross-sectional design. Subjects were asked to fill out Beck Depression Inventory (BDI-II) questionaire. Samples were chosen using consecutive sampling. The results of the questionaire were analyzed using Chi-square, Fischer Exact test with SPSS software for windows 22nd version to find a relationship between the employment status of depression in infertile women in Permata Hati Clinic of Dr. Sardjito Hospital Yogyakarta. Results: There is no correlation between employment status of depression in infertile women in Permata Hati Clinic of Dr Sardjito Hospital Yogyakarta, with P = 0,484 (P > 0,05). Other lifestyle factors also do not have significant influence to the occurrence of depression.
