PERANAN ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION TRAINING DALAM MENINGKATKAN PROFESIONALISME TENAGA PENDIDIK: UPAYA REVOLUSI MENTAL DI SEKOLAH POLISI NEGARA

Abstrak Peran tenaga pendidik menjadi hal pokok dalam memberikan pengajaran dan pendidikan untuk pembentukan Bintara Polri yang yang memiliki pengetahuan, keterampilan, kemampuan, ketangguhan, sikap dan perilaku terpuji dalam rangka melaksanakan tugas kepolisian.. Penempatan sebagai tenaga pendidik karena turunnya surat perintah untuk mengajar di Sekolah Polisi Negara memunculkan kesan bahwa personel merasa dibuang. Hal ini menyebabkan perilaku tenaga pendidik dalam proses belajar mengajar siswa menjadi tidak profesional sehingga berpengaruh pada kualitas pendidikan dalam pembentukan Bintara Polri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peranan adaptasi Achievement Motivation Training dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme tenaga pendidik. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Analisis data untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik dengan teknik Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini yaitu 18 orang tenaga pendidik yang aktif mengajar di Sekolah Kepolisian Negara (SPN) Lubuk Bunter, Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Hasil analisis data wilcoxon menunjukkan adanya perubahan skor rerata pretest �µ=102,67 ) dan posttest �µ=133,33) dengan z hitung > z tabel (-3,727 > -1,645) artinya terjadi peningkatkan profesionalisme tenaga pendidik di Sekolah Polisi Negara setelah dilakukannya achievement motivation training.

Abstract The role of educators are vital in molding non-com officers that are knowledgeable, skillful, able, firm, with admirable attitudes and behaviors in their line of duty as police officers. Dispositions as educators because of warrants from superiors to teach at the state police academy, gives the impression that those personels felt put aside by the state police. This in turn cause the educators behaviors to be unprofessional in the teaching-learning process which will then influence the quality of the non-com police officers. This research aims to to test the role of the adaptation of the Achievement Motivation Training in increasing educators professionalism. This research used the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data analysis used to test the hypothesis of this research is the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The participants of this research are 18 educators that were actively teaching in the State Police Academy in Lubuk Bunter, Bangka Belitung Island. Results from the wilcoxon analysis showed that there were changes in the pretest mean (�µ=102,67 ) and posttest (�µ=133,33) with z calculation > z table (-3,727 > -1,645) which means that there is an increase in educatiors professionalism after implementing the achievement motivation training.
