Abstrak Penelitian ini membahas tentang partisipasi pemuda dalam pemilihan umum 2014 dan implikasinya terhadap ketahanan politik wilayah pondok pesantren. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Pondok Pesantren Ali Maksum, Krapyak Kulon, Desa Panggungharjo, Kecamatan Sewon, Kabupaten Bantul, Propinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengkaji partisipasi pemuda dalam Pemilihan Umum 2014, (2) mengkaji implikasi partisipasi pemuda dalam Pemilihan Umum 2014 terhadap ketahanan politik wilayah pondok pesantren. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pemaparan secara deskriptif. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi pada suatu permasalahan yang terjadi di suatu ruang lingkup masyarakat. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara mendalam, studi dokumentasi dan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi pemuda dalam pemilu 2014 di Pondok Pesantren Ali Maksum dapat dihasilkan partisipasi yang aktif dengan kategori partisipasi mobilisasi tidak mutlak, mobilisasi lebih dalam hal kampanye dan ideologi dalam memilih karena pemuda di pondok pesantren tinggal dalam sebuah komunitas sosial yang terstruktur dengan model pendidikan campuran antara modern dan tradisional. Karakteristik tipologi pemuda di Pondok Pesantren Ali Maksum ini lebih cenderung dalam tipologi kharismatik tidak mutlak, yaitu memilih pilihan yang tidak jauh berbeda dari pilihan pimpinan pondok pesantren, bisa arah pilihannya sama persis dengan pilihan pimpinan ataupun hanya sama satu frekuensi ideologi. Partisipasi pemuda dalam Pemilu 2014 di Pondok Pesantren Ali Maksum berimplikasi positif (baik) terhadap ketahanan politik wilayah pondok pesantren. Bentuk implikasi ini berupa keuletan dan ketangguhan pemuda dalam menanggapi pemilu 2014, karena tidak berdampak pada apatisme dalam berkontribusi dalam pemilu 2014. Aspek ketahanan tersebut berupa ketahanan Ketahanan terhadap kesadaran sosial politik, disiplin wilayah dan dinamika sosial.

ABSTRACT This research discusses youth participation in an election 2014 and implications of political resilience the boarding school. The research was conducted at Ali Maksum Boarding School, Krapyak Kulon, Panggungharjo Village, in Sewon, Bantul district, the province of Yogyakarta Special Region. The purpose of this research is (1) looking at the participation of youth in elections 2014, (2) the implications of youth participation in general elections 2014 against political resilience in the boarding school. This research was a qualitative with descriptive exposure. The approach used in this study is the study of the problems in society. Collecting data in this study uses observation, interview, documentation study and literature study. plus a simple qualitative supporting data. The results show that youth participation Ali Maksum Boarding School infallible in the 2014 elections can be generated active by category of participation mobilization is not absolute in the campaign and ideology in choosing, mobilizing more in terms of campaigns and ideology in selecting for youth in boarding school living within a social community that structured education model a mix between the modern and the traditional. Characteristic typology of youth at boarding Ali Maksum is more likely in the charismatic typology is not absolute, ie choose the option that is not much different from the selection of the leadership of the boarding school, could be the exact same direction of his choice with a selection of the leadership of the same or only one frequency ideology. Youth participation in the 2014 election in Ali Maksum boarding school positive implications (good) against political resistance region of the boarding school. Form of the implications of this form of ductility and toughness of youth in response to the 2014 election, because it does not impact on apathy in contributing to the resilience aspect of the 2014 election in the form of resilience to social and political consciousness, discipline and social dynamics of the region.
