PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN DAN KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI KEPALA SEKOLAH TERHADAP KINERJA KEPALA SEKOLAH SD INTI SE KECAMATAN WONOSARI KABUPATEN GUNUNGKIDUL

Kepala sekolah sebagai salah satu penentu mutu pendidikan dan kemajuan sekolah. Keberhasilan pendidikan sebagaian besar di tentukan oleh kemampuan kepemimpinan dan kemampuan komunikasi kepala sekolah dalam melaksanakan implementasi dari visi, misi dan tujuan sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan dan kemampuan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah dengan responden guru-guru SD Inti Se Kecamatan Wonosari Gunungkidul. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 65 responden yang berasal dari 6 Sekolah Dasar Negeri, dan merupakan Sekolah Dasar Negeri Inti di Kecamatan Wonosari Gunungkidul Yogyakarta. Strata pendidikan responden terdiridari Diploma, Strata I dan Strata 2 dengan status kepegawaian PNS atau Non PNS. Teknik penelitian ini menggunakan korelasi dan regresi,Dari data diperoleh bahwa: Konstanta sebesar 51,289, koefisien regresi X1 sebesar 0,307, dan koefisien regresi X2 sebesar 0,0,689 sehingga diperoleh persamaan regresi adalah Y = 51,289 + 0,307 X1+ 0,689 X2. Artinya kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja dan kemampuan komunikasi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja. Berdasarkan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa untuk menjadi seorang kepala sekolah yang berkualitas maka harus memilki kemampuan dalam bidang kepemimpinan dan komunikasi. Dengan kemampuan, pimpinan akan mudah menjalankan visi dan misi organisasi secara efektif dan efisien.

Head of school is as one determinant of the quality of education and school progress. Educational success mostly is determined by the competency of leadership and communication skills of headmaster in implementing vision, mission and goals of the school. This study aims to determine the effect of leadership and communication skills on the performance of headmaster with respondents from pilot primary school teachers in the district of Wonosari Gunungkidul Yogyakarta. The population in this research is as much as 65 respondents from 6 State Primary School and pilot State Primary School in the district of Wonosari Gunungkidul Yogyakarta. The educational background of respondent consists of the First degree and Master degree with the employment status of civil servants or non-civil servants. Research techniques use correlation and regression with the equation of Y = a X1 + b X2. From the data are obtained that: the constants is 51,289, the regression coefficient (a) X1 amounted to 0,307, and the regression coefficients (b)X2 amounted to 0,689 then the regression equation is to be Y = 51,289 + 0,307 X1+ 0,689 X2. The result shows leadership has a significant influence on the performance and communication skills and has a significant effect on performance. This study concludes that in order to become a headmaster qualified then a leader must have the competency of leadership and communication. This competency leads to the leader ability to easily to carry out the vision and mission of the organization effectively and efficiently.
