PENGEMBANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI UNTUK MENDUKUNG PEMANTAUAN DAN EVALUASI PEMBELAJARAN MAHASISWA PESERTA KULIAH KERJA NYATA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi yang mendukung pemantauan dan evaluasi pembelajaran mahasiswa peserta Kuliah Kerja Nyata-Pembelajaran Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Universitas Gadjah Mada (KKN-PPM UGM). Ruang lingkup penelitian adalah perancangan sistem pelaporan online KKN-PPM. Aplikasi sistem informasi dapat dibangun menggunakan framework Laravel 4.2. Analisis terhadap sistem yang dibangun menggunakan metode PIECES (performance, information, economyc, control, efficiency dan service). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, SIKKa versi 3.0 merupakan versi akhir pengembangan sistem informasi pelaporan online KKN-PPM bagi mahasiswa dan dosen pembimbing lapangan (DPL). Dari penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa penggunaan sistem informasi mempermudah tugas mahasiswa dan DPL, menghemat penggunaan kertas, mampu menyimpan dan mendokumentasikan data dengan baik, menghasilkan data secara cepat, akurat dan tepat waktu, mempermudah tugas pengelolaan arsip dan dokumentasi kegiatan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah dengan melakukan pengembangan sistem informasi, DPL dan pengelola dapat melakukan pemantauan dan evaluasi terhadap proses pembelajaran mahasiswa peserta KKN-PPM.

This research aims to design an information system that supports monitoring and evaluation of learning for student participating in Student Community Service-Community Empowerment Learning (SCS-CEL). The scope of the research is to design an online reporting system for SCS-CEL. The information system applications can be built using a framework Laravel 4.2. The analysis of the system developed used PIECES (performance, information, economic, control, efficiency and service) method. The results from this study indicated that SIKKa version 3.0 is the final development version of the online reporting information system of SCS-CEL for students and field supervision lecturers (DPL). The study showed that the use of information systems facilitated the task of the students and DPL, saved papers, allowed effective storing and documentation of data, generated data quickly, accurately and on time, simplified the task of file management and documentation activities. The conclusion of this study is that the development of information systems is beneficial for DPL and managers in monitoring and evaluating the learning process of the students participating in SCS-CEL.
