Peneiitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hipotesis bahwa ada hubungan negatif antara kecerdasan emosi dan stres &@a. Selain itu penelitian ini juga ingin melihat faktor apa dalam kecerdasan emosi yang paring berpengaruh terhadap stres kerja. Tingkat kecerdasan emosi diukur berdasarkan skaia yang dibuat oleh Cooper dan h a $ Sedangkan tingkat stres kerja diukur berdasarkan skala yasng dibuat oieh Sute4a. Subyek peneiitian yang digunakan daiam penelitian ini adalah karyawan PusdiWat Migas Cepu. Jumlah subyek 134 orang dan diambil dengan cara random. Pengujian hipotesis dengan koreiasi product moment pearson.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan negatif antara kecerdasan emosi dan stres kerja (P The purpose of the research is to test the hypothesis that there is relationship between work stress and emotional intelligent. Beside that the research want to know what is the most factor in emotional intelligent that influence work stress. Emotional intelligent will be scaled with the scale have made by Cooper & SawaJ Mean while, work stress will be scaled with the scaled with the scale have made by Sutedia. The subject in this research is Pusdiklat Migas Cepu employee. Numbers of subject are 134 people and choose random.
The hypothesis will be test with product moment pearson correlation. The result shown that there is negative correlation between emotional intellegent and work stress (P
