RANCANG BANGUN KELAS PARALEL BERBASIS SMART CLASSROOM DENGAN HYBRID CLOUD DAN OFFICE 365

Dosen sedikit, mahasiswa banyak, dan jumlah ruang kelas terbatas, sementara interaksi terbaik adalah dengan interaksi langsung. Solusi yang ada saat ini adalah menggunakan parallel classroom, tetapi parallel classroom tersebut membutuhkan dosen yang banyak dan penyampaian materinya tidak sama antara satu dosen dengan dosen yang lain. Penelitian ini melakukan penerapan teknologi Hybrid Cloud (cloud system terdiri Azure Active Directory, dan Office 365, local system terdiri Windows Active Directory, Skype for Business Server) sebagai Learning Management System, dan mendesain kelas paralel berbasis Smart classroom. Tujuannya supaya dosen dapat mengajar lebih dari satu kelas dalam waktu bersamaan pada mata kuliah yang sama, dengan menggunakan teknologi Hybrid Cloud dan Office 365. Collaborative learning melalui jaringan komputer lokal kampus diharapkan meminimalisir terjadi hambatan ketika video conference dan menghubungkan antara dosen dan mahasiswa pada ruang, dan lokasi yang berbeda. Penelitian ini telah menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi Hybrid Cloud dapat menjadi alternatif teknologi pembelajaran. Hybrid Cloud mampu mengkondisikan fleksibilitas aktivitas peserta didik dalam pemilihan penggunaan sistem sesuai dengan kondisi yang terjadi. Pada saat pada kondisi bandwidth internet terbatas, maka bisa menggunakan sistem yang berada di jaringan lokal kampus. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kendala utama pembelajaran kolaboratif menggunakan video conference (bandwidth internet) dapat dipecahkan dengan tidak terjadi delay. Penerimaan teknologi Hybrid Cloud di lingkungan akademik lebih dari 80% setuju dan dapat membantu proses kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas paralel. Teknologi Hybrid Cloud ini juga menjadi alternatif solusi traditional classroom yang hanya bisa dilakukan dalam satu ruangan dengan jumlah siswa terbatas, artinya satu pengajar dapat mengajar lebih dari satu kelas dalam waktu yang bersamaan dengan menghadirkan lingkungan Smart Classroom pada pembelajaran kelas paralel. A good education is an education that always develops from time to time, including the development of technologies that allows students to understand the significance of learning to acquire knowledge. Good learning is also supported by good interaction between lectures and students. The embodiment of the learning interaction is generally manifested in the form of discussions, questions and answers, opportunity sharing in using the whiteboard, and so forth. Parallel classes based Smart Classroom is a concept that describes the Smart Classroom learning environment that is supported by information and communication technology. Utilizing Metropolite Area Network to track video conference in real time, and delivering Hybrid Cloud technology (cloud system consists Azure Active Directory and Office 365, the local system consisting of Windows Active Directory, Skype for Business Servers) as a Learning Management System, a teacher may teach more than one class at the same time via a computer network without the barriers of space, distance, and location. This study has shown that the application of Hybrid Cloud technology can be an alternative learning technologies, and able to condition the flexibility of the activities of learners in the use of selection system in accordance with the conditions. If the conditions of the limited internet bandwidth, it can use the same system in the local network of the campus. The results showed that the main obstacle collaborative learning using video conferencing (internet bandwidth) can be solved with no delay occurs. Hybrid Cloud technology acceptance in the academic environment of more than 80% agree and can assist the process of teaching and learning in parallel classes. Hybrid Cloud technology has also become an alternative solution to traditional classroom that can only be done in one room with a limited number of students, it means one teacher may teach more than one class at the same time to bring the Smart Classroom learning environment in the parallel classes.
