PREVALENSI TELUR STRONGIL DARI NEMATODA GASTROINTESTINAL PADA SAPI PERANAKAN LIMOUSIN DI KECAMATAN GAMPING KABUPATEN SLEMAN D.I.Y

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prevalensi telur strongil dari cacing jenis nematoda gastrointestinal pada sapi peranakan limousin di Kecamatan Gamping Kabupaten Sleman beserta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya infeksi cacing tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan 112 sampel feses dari 11 dusun yang semuanya termasuk dalam Kecamatan Gamping Kabupaten Sleman. Sampel feses dibedakan berdasarkan masing-masing dusun, umur, dan jenis kelamin. Pemeriksaan sampel feses menggunakan metode sentrifus dan McMaster serta dianalisis menggunakan metode perhitungan statistik Chi square. Berdasarkan penghitungan dapat disimpulkan bahwa prevalensi telur strongil pada sapi peranakan limousin di Kecamatan Gamping Kabupaten Sleman sebesar 47%. Prevalensi telur strongil pada sapi peranakan limousin di masing-masing dusun Kecamatan Gamping Kabupaten Sleman tidak berhubungan (P > 0,05). Prevalensi telur strongil pada sapi peranakan limousin di Kecamatan Gamping Kabupaten Sleman ada hubungan dengan umur ( P < 0,05). Prevalensi telur strongil pada sapi peranakan limousin Kecamatan Gamping Kabupaten Sleman tidak ada hubungan dengan jenis kelamin sapi (P > 0,05).

The aim of this research was to know the prevalence and others factors related to the limousin crossbred (LC) cattle strongyle eggs from nematodes gastrointestinal parasite infection in District of Gamping Sub-Province of Sleman. This research used 112 samples of LC cattle faeces that was taken from 11 sub-district in district of Gamping, sub-province of Sleman. The faeces samples was differentiated based on the sub-district, ages and sex. The faeces samples was examined with sentrifuge and McMaster methods, and was analyzed by statistic calculation with Chi Square method. Based on the calculation it was conclude that the prevalence of limousin crosbred (LC) cattle strongyle eggs in district of Gamping sub-province of Sleman were 47%. The prevalence of limousin crossbred (LC) cattle strongyle eggs each sub-district in district of Gamping sub-province of Sleman was not related ( P > 0,05). The prevalence of limousin crossbred (LC) cattle strongyle eggs in district of Gamping sub-province of Sleman was related with ages ( P < 0,05). The prevalence of limousin crossbred (LC) cattle strongyle eggs in district of Gamping sub-province of Sleman was not related with sex ( P > 0,05).
