PENGARUH APLIKASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER TERHADAP KEDISIPLINAN SISWA DI KELAS

2016 | Skripsi | S1 PSIKOLOGIPenelitian ini mencoba untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi Pendidikan Karakter terhadap Kedisiplinan Siswa di kelas. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen onegroup pretest-posttest design with double pre-test. Data diambil menggunakan self-inventory scale yaitu Skala Kedisiplinan Siswa, yang dibagikan kepada murid kelas 4 dan 5 di suatu SD di Kota Yogyakarta. Rentang waktu pengambilan data antar kondisi (pretest 1, pretest 2, dan posttest) adalah satu setengah sampai dua bulan. Perlakuan dilakukan oleh guru kelas setelah mengambil data pretest 2. Sebelum melakukan perlakuan para guru diberikan pelatihan mengenai �¢ï¿½ï¿½Pendidikan Karakter Disiplin�¢ï¿½ï¿½. Modul Pendidikan Karakter Disiplin menggunakan teori Lickona mengenai bagaimana guru dapat membangun karakter disiplin pada siswa yaitu; (1) merencanakan kebijakan otoritas moral guru; (2) melakukan pengorganisasian peraturan kelas; (3) membuat dan menjalakan konsekuensi yang sejalan dengan tujuan pendidikan; (4) menyampaikan rasa peduli dan hormat bagi setiap individu murid. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA repeated measure, tidak ada perbedaan skor Kedisiplinan Siswa antara sebelum perlakuan diberikan dengan sesudah perlakuan diberikan (F(2,100) = 1,057, p > 0,05). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa Aplikasi Pendidikan Karakter tidak Memiliki Pengaruh terhadap Kedisiplinan Siswa.
This research aims to understand the effect of applicating �¢ï¿½ï¿½Character Education�¢ï¿½ï¿½, on students�¢ï¿½ï¿½ discipline in class. This research used the one group pretest-postest experimental desgin with doube pretest. Datas were collected using a self-inventory scale through the Students�¢ï¿½ï¿½ Discipline Scale, the scale was distributed to 4th and 5th grade students in an elementary school in the City of Yogyakarta. The range between data collecting (pretest 1, pretest 2, and posttest) are one and a half to two months. Treatment was executed by the class teacher after administering the second pretest. The teachers were given training before hand, with the �¢ï¿½ï¿½Discipline Character Education�¢ï¿½ï¿½ module. The module uses a theory from Lickona on how teachers could increase students�¢ï¿½ï¿½ discipline by doing four steps, they are; (1) realizing teachers�¢ï¿½ï¿½ moral authority; (2) organizing classrules; (3) making and implementing consequences that are in accordance with the purpose of education; (4) showing affection and respect towards each students. Data was analyzed using ANOVA repeated measure, there were no differences in the Students�¢ï¿½ï¿½ Disicpline between before treatment and after treatment (F(2,100) = 1,057, p > 0,05). This result showed that the Application of Character Education has no effect on Students�¢ï¿½ï¿½ Discipline in Class.
