INTISARI Salah satu upaya dalam peningkatan pendapatan negara/daerah dan strategi kebijakan pembangunan wilayah/daerah yaitu dengan pembangunan industri. Industri harus mampu menciptakan sinergi dengan masyarakat dan mampu merangsang pertumbuhan investasi – investasi yang lain. Berangkat dari pemahaman diatas, tulisan ini mencoba mengangkat permasalahan , seperti apakah pengaruh industri terhadap perkembangan wilayah dan apa kontribusi yang diberikan perushaan kepada masyarakat dan juga wilayah? Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode survei langsung ke wilayah penelitian dengan menggunkan indikator penelitian sosial dan ekonomi. Indikator-indikator yang akan diuraikan yaitu struktur ekonomi daerah, analisis LQ, pertumbuhan penduduk dan peningkatan peningkatan sarana prasarana lainnya. Dengan menggunakan analisis tersebut, hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa industri paper pulp berpengaruh dalam mendukung perkembangan wilayah terbukti dari struktur ekonomi yang meningkat, transformasi struktur ekonomi dari sektor primer ke sektor sekunder dan besaran self sufficient dilihat dari analisis LQ (Location Quotient) yang membuktikan bahwa industri paper pulp berperan dalam mendukung perkembangan wilayah kecamatan Parmaksian.

Industry must be able to create synergies with the community and is able to stimulate the growth of investments - other investments. Departing from the understanding of the above, this paper tried to raise issues, such as whether the industry's influence on the development of the region and what contribution given Integration to the public and also the region? This research was conducted using survey methods directly to the research area by using the indicators of social and economic research. Which will be seen from both of these indicators is the regional economic structure, LQ analysis, population growth and increased improvement of other infrastructure facilities. By using this analysis, the results showed that the industry paper pulp influential in supporting the development of the region is evident from the structure of the economy increases, the transformation of the economic structure from the primary sector to the secondary sector and the amount of self-sufficient seen from the analysis of LQ (Location Quotient), which proves that the industry paper pulp role in supporting the development of districts Parmaksian.
