MOBILITAS VERTIKAL DAN HORISONTAL KASUS PEDAGANG BUBUR KACANG HIJAU DI KECAMATAN MERGANGSAN YOGYAKARTA

Usaha sektor informal di Yogyakarta berkembang karena terdapat beragam fasilitas pendidikan dan tempat usaha (formal dan informal) sehingga jumlah pendatang meningkat. Hal ini dimanfaatkan oleh sektor informal seperti warung bubur kacang hijau. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peranan mobilitas vertikal (dinamika ketenagakerjaan) dan mobilitas horisontal (cakupan ruang gerak) terhadap keberhasilan pedagang bubur kacang hijau. Metode penelitian adalah kualitatif life history (pengalaman hidup) dalam mengupas perjalanan hidup seorang pedagang warung burjo. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer. Analisis data menggunakan teknik pemilihan, kategorisasi, dan pengarsipan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan sektor informal adalah motivasi, pengalaman dan pengetahuan, lingkungan keluarga dan juga lingkungan bekerja (minat dan bakat serta partner kerja). Faktor-faktor tersebut dipengaruhi dan mempengaruhi mobilitas vertikal (dinamika ketenagakerjaan) dan mobilitas horisontal (cakupan ruang gerak). Kesimpulannya adalah adanya peranan penting Mobilitas vertikal (dinamika pekerjaan) dan Mobilitas horisontal (cakupan ruang gerak) terhadap keberhasilan usaha sektor informal.

Yogyakarta informal sector is growing because there are so many educational facilities and places of business (formal and informal). so number of newcomers is higher. This case used informal sector such as green bean porriedge stall. The purpose of this research is to know the role of vertical mobility (dynamics of employment) and horizontal mobility (coverage space) to the successful trader green bean porridge. The research method is qualitative life history (life experience) that used to get more information about life of a merchant green bean porridge stalls. Source of data that used is primary data of direct interviews. Data analysis that was used such the technique of selecting, categorizing and archiving data. The results of this research showed if the factor which influence the success of the informal sector is motivation, experience and knowledge, family environment and working environment (interest, talent and co-workers also). These factors were influenced and influence vertical mobility (dynamics of employment) and horizontal mobility (coverage space). The conclusion is there is an important role of vertical mobility (dynamics work) and horizontal mobility (coverage space) to the successful of this business.
