Evaluation of the effectiveness of oasys application on oil accounting department at Pertamina refinery unit VI Balongan

Pertamina Unit Pengolahan VI Balongan telah mengimplementasikan aplikasi OASY S sejak tahun 1999. Untuk mengetahui apakah penerapannya menguntungkan atau tidak, maka perlu dilakukan evaluasi terhadap sistem tersebut. Saat ini, evaluasi dan pengembangan yang dilakukan oleh Pertamina Unit Pengolahan VI Balongan hanya berkenaan dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan pemakai akhir pada masing-masing departemen di perusahaan tersebut. Tesis ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi seberapa efektif aplikasi OASYS dalam mendukung departemen atau Bagian Akuntansi Minyak untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kepada pelanggan dari sudut pandang kualitas sistem, kualitas informasi, pandangan kegunaan, pandangan kemudahan penggunaan, dan kemampuan komputerisasi. Dapat dikatakan bahwa temyata aplikasi OASY S memenuhi tujuan ' perhitungan kuantitas dan nilai minyak, pembuatan dokumen, penyiapan laporan yang dibutuhkan oleh Bagian Akuntansi Minyak dengan lebih baik.

Pertamina Refinery Unit VI Balongan has been implementing OASYS application since 1999. To find out whether the implementation of its information technology system in Oil Accounting Department is beneficial or not, there is a need for an evaluation of the information technology system. The current evaluation and development undertaken by Pertamina Refinery Unit VI Balongan are only concerned with the fulfillment of end user requirements in each department within the company. This thesis aims to evaluate the extent to which OASY S application is effective in supporting Oil Accounting Department to increase customer satisfaction in term of system quality, information quality, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and computer self-efficacy . It is found that OASYS application is able to achieve better results in calculating oil quantity and value, making documents needed, and preparing reports needed by Oil Accounting Department
