INTISARI Salah satu tujuan terpenting dari perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dalam tekhnologi tidak terlepas darri keinginan dan meringankan pekerjaan atau masalah yang dihadapi dengan memperoleh hasil yang sebaik-baiknya sehingga di industri perlu dibutuhkan suatu alat yang bisa mengontrol mesin secara otomatis. Programmeble Logic Controller (PLC) adalah pilihan yang tepat untuk mengganntikan system control konvesional. Pada PT. Federal Izumi manufacturing di gedung foundry pada line Gasoline untuk mesin casting Gasoline 6 merupakan salah satu mesin yang memroses penuangan ingot cair yang dari melting dimasukkan ke dalam Holding Furnance, kemudian dituangkan ke dalam cetakan (Mould). Suhu cairan disesuaikan dengan jenis materialnya . proses casting ini untuk menjadi piston setangah jadi. Pada hal ini perlu system control otomatis sehingga mempermudah pekerjaan dan mempercepat waktu produksinya. Kontrol pada mesin casting Gasoline 6 terdiri dari perangkat input, perangkat proses, dan perangkat output. Perangkat input terdiri dari push button, selector switch, sensor limit switch, emergency switch, touchsreen switch Perangkat proses menggunakan PLC Omron CJ-1M. Perangkat output yang digunakan adalah lampu indicator, solenoid, motor hidrolik, motor blower, dan lampu penerangan. Serta untuk touch screen menggunakan Omron HMI interface NT-21 dari input , touch screen, dan output tersebut di olah pada PLC yang memberi pengaturan secara otomatis sehingga bisa meningkatkan efisiensi waktu.

Federal Izumi manufacturing in the building foundry on the line for casting machines Gasoline 6 is one of the machines that process the ingot pouring liquid from melting incorporated into Holding Furnace, then poured into a mold (Mould). Fluid temperature adjusted to the type of material. The casting process to be finished half a piston. At this needs an automatic control system that makes it work and speed up production time. Controls on gasoline casting machine Gasoline 6 consists of an input device, the process, and output devices. The input device consists of a push button, selector switch, sensor limit switch, emergency switch, the device switches touchsreen using Omron PLC CJ-1M. Output device used are indicator lights, solenoids, hydraulic motors, blower motors, and lighting. As well as for use Omron HMI touch screen interface NT-21 from input, touch screen, and the output is processed in the plc which gives the settings automatically so that it can improve the efficiency of time.
