Keefektifan Peran Kelompok Tani dalam Penerapan Teknologi Budidaya Kakao di Kecamatan Pathuk Kabupaten Gunungkidul

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui tingkat keefektifan peran kelompok tani dalam penerapan teknologi budidaya kakao, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keefektifan peran kelompok tani tersebut, dan pengaruh peran kelompok tani terhadap penerapan teknologi budidaya kakao di Kecamatan Pathuk Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Peran kelompok tani dibagi menjadi tiga yaitu sebagai kelas belajar, wahan kerjasama, dan unit produksi. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan teknik survei dan untuk pengujiannya menggunakan uji proporsi, analisis regresi linier berganda dan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok tani selalu berperan efektif dalam meningkatkan penerapan teknologi budidaya kakao. Dari tujuh faktor yang diduga dapat mempengaruhi keefektifan peran tersebut, hanya terdapat dua faktor yaitu sikap dan peran penyuluh pertanian. Hasil regresi menunjukkan arah positif. Artinya, semakin positif sikap petani dan semakin aktif peran penyuluh pertanian, maka keefektifan peran kelompok tani dalam penerapan teknologi budidaya kakao semakin tinggi. Sedangkan kelima faktor lainnya (umur, tingkat pendidikan, pengalaman bertani, motivasi, dan peran ketua kelompok tani) tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Keefektifan peran kelompok tani tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap penerapan teknologi budidaya kakao di Kecamatan Pathuk Kabupaten Gunungkidul.

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the role of the farmer groups in the application of cocoa cultivation technology, know the factors that influence to the effectiveness of the role of the farmer groups, and influence of the role farmer groups toward the application of cocoa cultivation technology in Pathuk subdistrict Gunungkidul district. The role of the farmer groups was divided into three namely learning class, cooperation media, and production unit. This research used descriptive methods with survey techniques and to test used the proportions test, multiple linear regression analysis, and simple regression analysis. The results of the research showed that farmers groups always contribute effectively to develop the application of cocoa cultivation technology. From the seven factors that expected can affect effectiveness of the role, there are two significant factors namely attitude and the role of agricultural extension worker. Regression result gave positive effect meaning that the more positive attitude farmers will be more active role of agricultural extension worker, the higher the effectiveness of the role of farmers groups in application of technology cultivation of cocoa. Meanwhile, the other five factors (age, education, farm experience, motivation, and the role of the farmer groups leader) have no significant influence. The effectiveness of the role of the farmer group has no significant effect on the application of cacao cultivation technology in Pathuk subdistrict Gunungkidul district.
