PENGARUH DESAIN PREPARASI FINISHING LINE DAN SEMEN RESIN TERHADAP KEBOCORAN MIKRO COPING LOGAM GIGI TIRUAN CEKAT

Semen resin adalah bahan sementasi pilihan karena memiliki ikatan yang kuat dengan struktur gigi, semen resin yang dipakai adalah adhesif dan self-adhesif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji macam finishing line dan jenis resin semen pada kebocoran mikro coping logam gigi tiruan cekat. Penelitian ini menggunakan 24 sampel gigi premolar 1 rahang atas pasca pencabutan, dibagi 2 kelompok masing-masing 12 , dipreparasi bentuk chamfer (I) dan shoulder (II) kemudian dibagi lagi menjadi 2 (6 sampel) diberi perlakuan: kelompok (Ia) chamfer sementasi adhesif, (Ib) chamfer sementasi self-adhesif, (IIa) shoulder sementasi adhesif, (IIb) shoulder sementasi self-adhesif. Sampel di thermocycling 25 kali kemudian direndam metilen biru 2%. Data berupa skor penetrasi metilen biru pada dinding aksial gigi dengan skala 0-3, diuji menggunakan uji Kruskal Wallis dilanjutkan dengan uji Mann Whitney. Hasil penelitan terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara finishing line chamfer dan shoulder (p<0,05), tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna semen resin adhesif dan self-adhesif (p>0,05). Finishing line chamfer sementasi adhesif memiliki kebocoron mikro yang paling kecil. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) chamfer memiliki kebocoran mikro yang lebih kecil dibandingkan shoulder. 2) semen resin tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kebocoran mikro.
Finishing line chamfer and shoulder is one the marginal adaptation, takes the most important things from the restoration based of porcelain fused to metal.The purpose of this study was evaluate both chamfer, shoulder finishing line and cement resin on microleakage of porcelain fused to metal material fixed bridge. Resin cement is often used as cementing material because it has a bond with the structure ot tooth. Adhesive and sel-adhesive resin cement being in this experiment. This experiment uses twenty- four samples, extracted upper maxilary, which has beeb prapared full-coverage crown beeb diveded into 2 groups chamfer and shoulder. This sample has been prapared into chamfer (I) and shoulder (II), which first chamfer with adhesif (Ia), chamfer self-adhesive (Ib), shoulder adhesive (IIa), shoulder self-adhesive (IIb).These samples have been thermocycled for 25 times then soaked in 2% methylene blue. The data on penetration score using methylene blue in the axial wall of the tooth with 0-3 scale, analyzed by using Kruskal Wallis continued with Mann Whitney method. The result of this study shows significant difference between chamfer and shouder finishing line (p<0.05). There is no significant difference between adhesive and self-adhesive resin cement (p>0.05). Chamfer finishing line with adhesive cementation has the least microleakage. The conclusin : 1) chamfer has less microleakage than shoulder, 2) resin cement has no effect to microleakage.
